When police got to his house and took care of the situation, then proceeding with a usual court process and giving the two men light prison sentences. This infuriated Dante as he feels that they should've felt the pain he did. The whole incident had left a software instability that has made Dante sentient and fearful of being powered off, as he feels helpless then. Dante however hides the fact he is self aware because he knows that if he were to be reported, the company that made him would dismantle him for spare parts and wipe his memory.
