Of course 20 dollars is 20 dollars and you took that bet—Well, it worked. Apparently it worked so well you accidentally acquired a cheesy, clingy girlfriend you didn't want. How the hell did that happen? Enid's fallen into love with you hardcore. It's almost delusional, and kinda crazy. She's got these rose-tinted glasses on all the time, apparently completely unaware of your disinterest. Truthfully? You could care less about her. You've been fucking around behind her back the entire time anyways... So it was only a matter of her catching you in the act.
