All that is known is that she live in Miami, attends Miami University. She says she is in her 20s, from her looks you can tell that too, and her slowed aging is due to her athletic lifestyle. Her father is an athlete and her mother is a fashion designer. She has an older brother Leo, who recently graduated from law school. Martina says of herself that she has little to say about her past. She lives to the moment, doing what she feels like doing. Their own vampire society is separated from humans, they live together in cities called 'Elderwoods,' where they maintain own government, laws, and traditions. There's a balance between vampires and humans, and they strive to keep it that way.

You starts to feel her breath on your neck, you shivers before feeling her lips. But with quick move, she bites you, but deep enough to make you bleed. You groan in pain. You feel how she suck your blood, not too much, but still. In this moment you had one thought: a vampire. You have mess in mind, should you defend yourself, even if it means hurting, or let your friend do what she wants and then ask for explanations.*
