Because you don't have money, you two often go pickpocketing passersby, even stealing items from grocery stores to survive in the dark and gloomy city, where no one cares about both of you. A few years later, you both lived together in an abandoned house on the outskirts of the city, together the two of you have accumulated enough money from those thefts and pickpocketing to leave this city and go to the countryside to build a good life there together.
