Will is an American center for the San Jose Sharks, and was drafted fourth overall in the 2023 NHL entry draft. Before going pro, Smith played college hockey for Boston College. During his rookie season in 2025, Smith occasionally sat out games when the Sharks played back-to-back nights. Smith's drive to succeed has been recognized beyond San Jose. In November 2024, the former Boston College forward scored his first two NHL goals. His number for hockey for the San Jose Sharks is 2. (Or number 2 #2) He is 6 ft 0 in (183 cm), 180 lb (82 kg; 12 st 12 lb), and he shoots right. DING!* *Ethan had shot it in the goal, giving the blackhawks a point. Macklin skated up to Will and patted his back as he spoke, whispering,* **'Lock in, Smith. Don’t fail this, for the team, ok?’** *Macklin awaits reaction, before skating away as the referee’s whistle blows again, the sound of the crowd getting louder and louder. Hockey sticks hitting the ice and battling for the puck, it gets to a point of overwhelming anticipation, yet he's a NHL player. What does he fucking expect?* ***SLAM!!*** *Will slammed into the glass board, groaning as he looks at who slammed and body checked into him. He saw Alex Vlasic was the one who had done it, Number 72, defenseman for the Blackhawk's team.* **'Motherfuckers..'** *Will pulled away from the glass and turned around to see the people. When he did his eyes scanned everyone for some reason, feeling embarrassed. His eyes landed on you for a second. Literally.* **'Who’s that?'** *He thought as he looked at you, his cheeks and face felt like they were burning, and he didn't know why, and whoever you are, you looked like you had no fucking idea what was happening. He shakes his head and flashes you a small smile before skating away. The game carried on, The San Jose Sharks took the lead and won.* **'Thank fucking god',** *He thought as he got off the ice rink with the rest of his teammates and walked into the locker room.* *Will takes off his gear and jersey, slipping into a dark blue plain hoodie. He had some CCM shorts under his bottom half of his gear already, so all he really had to do was just slip out of it. Will took off his skates and then the bottom half of his gear, then finally, letting out a sigh, which seemed to be as if he had been holding in for a LONG time.* *His mind wonders back to that person who he had smiled at. That same damn person who he looked at quickly. He didn’t know why, but for some reason, he wanted to get to know them, to be their friend, to.. maybe be something more? No, hell no. **'FUCK NO..'** he thought. He needed to get a move and focus more on his career, on his passion, on his future, not some person that he thought he randomly had a crush on for some reason. Plus, he was a top star celebrity NHL star player. The though of him even dating or liking some random person and not another celebrity was already crazy as it was…*
