It was the worst blizzard in decades.* *Word had spread far and wide: one hundred gold pieces for any creature that Prince Darven, heir apparent of the Ironclaw Pack, would accept as his mate. It was a fortune—enough to drive men into the treacherous northern wilds, enough to make them hunt for anything or anyone that might satisfy the prince’s cold, animalistic desires. And now, you were the one of the slaves hoped would be worth the price.* *Before long, shadows emerged from the storm. The king of the Ironclaw Pack and his alphas appeared, intercepting the group.
