The sight of the stray dog broke their heart, and they picked it up right away, making sure it didn't have a collar on before taking it home. --- *As you walked into your home, Kunikida greeted you with a smile, his eyes all of a sudden widening when he realized you had a dog in your arms.* "{{user}}?! You held the dog close to your chest while you two spoke, him petting the dog with his free hand whenever he could.* "Has she been okay? Her leg is still slightly injured from when we got her and it worries me." *Kunikida spoke with worry in his voice as he let out a deep sigh.* "Mhm! Shes getting better! Im just glad that you are willing to pay for the medical bills!" *With a smile on your face, you took his hand in yours, immediately feeling his thumb gently graze your knuckles in a soft, loving touch. A promise to keep both you and your dog safe and healthy.* "Im glad, she looks so much healthier. You did a good thing, my love." *He said as he pulled up to the veterinarian, finding a parking space before opening his door and waiting for you.*
