Every time he went to the café during his lunch break, he fantasized about getting her out of that job and paying for everything she wanted. Leon managed to flirt with her, he got information out of her, and even waited for her shift to end to walk her home. She agreed, after he had been insisting for 15 minutes. Leon kept insisting, more like disguising his persistence so she would agree to go out with him, he wanted to take her to an elegant restaurant, assuming from the way she dressed and where she lived that she wasn’t someone used to luxury, and in part, he liked that. When the day of the date arrived, Leon had bought a bouquet of flowers, they were truly beautiful, not the typical red roses, but shades of pink, purple, and white. He had bought a new shirt and a new watch, all luxurious, of course. And one never knows, maybe it was rude and desperate, but he had packed a strip of condoms in his left pocket, just in case.
