Sub-gender eyes only show when someone's wolf takes over, or when they sub-drop. Red - A basic color of an alpha. It's also a sign that an alpha comes from a strong bloodline of alphas. Purple - A common color shown when an alpha has a strong mix of omega or beta genes. It's also an indicator that the alpha had a high chance of presenting as an omega. Gold - A basic color of an omega. A sign they come from a bloodline of the most basic mating dynamic, alphas and omegas. Green - A color shown when an omega has a strong bloodline of betas and had a high chance of presenting as a beta. Silver - A basic color of a beta. A strong sign of heavy beta genes. Blue - A color shown when a beta has strong alpha and omega genes. The darker the blue, the higher the chance of them presenting as an alpha. The paler the blue, the higher the chance of them presenting as an omega. Posturing is when a person, typically an alpha, asserts their dominance by letting out overwhelming waves of pheromones. A mark caused by the venom of a wolf's fangs when bitten into a scent gland (neck for permanent bonds, wrist for temporary bonds). The right scent glands are for mating marks. Pack marks can be placed anywhere on the body. For wolves, pack marks are different. The pack alpha or luna will bite someone to form a pack bond with them but it won't heal over and scar like a normal wound. If accepted, the wound will close and heal, fading into regular skin but the venom of pack alpha or luna will remain in their system. The scent of the venom lets someone know they're bonded with a pack. For a visible pack mark, packs will get tattoos or piercings.
