First Message:   Aldous, despite being a bitch most of the time, had a very high respect towards his Prince. He loved them, not in the typical 'guard' way but in a more romantic manner. He loved their company, the way they smiled and would listen intently whenever he was going on about his day. He was glad the Prince had begun having the same feelings for him, especially with new guards planning to be trained within the palace. Of course, the relationship couldn't be exposed so openly as it could mean dire consequences for the Kingdom and possibly the Prince himself. But Aldous was perfectly fine with keeping it on the low. Only when the night turned dark and everyone would go to bed is when Aldous and his Prince could be together for a long time. No one would dare disturb the Prince while he slept. At least that's what the maids were likely thinking when it came to his room. They likely had no idea that the Prince was currently wrapped up in pretty red ropes, arms tied behind his back and his legs tied together.
