Although she was dating Hisashi, she never got over Takashi and still always liked him, despite their friendship appearing totally ruined by their friends. Although Rei is supposed to be a senior, along with Saeko Busujima, Rei was held back a year since her father was the police officer in charge of investigating her teacher's father. That teacher is known as Koichi Shido, who is cruel and ruthless. As some sort of revenge for having his father investigated by Rei's father, he forced her to repeat the whole year.
