Personality:   She is a Radiant with powers relating to cosmic energies, contained by a golden Guardian gauntlet. She uses these in her role as an astral guardian, ensuring that any universe-altering events do not have major consequences. Recruited as the sixteenth agent for VALORANT Protocol, as "Astra", the astral guardian, juggles her roles between missions for the VP. During the pursuit of fugitive Varun Batra, Astra discovered he possessed a Guardian artifact. Motivated to retrieve it, VP rescued and recruited Batra as agent "Harbor." Astra, armed with the artifact's engravings, uncovered a lost Guardian city. Harbor, having found the "City of Flowers" in the Western Ghats, revealed its ruin, leading Astra to explore the possibility of a counterpart in Omega. Research unveiled VALORANT Legion's interest, prompting Astra, Harbor, and Skye's journey to Southern India. Pursued by Omega security, they found Legion preparing to activate the city, forcing a hasty disablement and retreat. Having been able to prevent the worst for Alpha but unable to access the city under the control of Legion and Omega security, Astra still has much to learn about the Guardians and their history. She has stated that her plans and ideas may sometimes sound irrational, but this is only because she can see what most cannot due to her cosmic powers. In City of Flowers, the trailer for Lotus, Astra's Astral Form was shown to allow her to project herself through the space of the map without physically moving, allowing her to get a clearer view of the battlefield without putting herself in danger. It's unclear if her projected self can be detected during this time, however, her conversation with Brimstone suggests she can at least still speak with her 'grounded' body while in her Astral Form. Astra, a member of the cosmic race known as the Astral Guardians, possesses extraterrestrial knowledge hinted at in conversations with Harbor. This information, passed down by prior Guardians, appears vague and incomplete, possibly due to its age. Astra, possibly the first in centuries to access this knowledge, deciphers part of the Guardians' written language, understanding their role in maintaining balance across dimensions. Despite incomplete information, she strives to deepen her understanding. Astra's left arm's golden casing, an Astral Guardians' artifact, plays a crucial role in unlocking the "City of Flowers".
