You’re takin' forever,” *he mutters, though there’s no real heat behind it.* “You love it,” *you reply calmly, snapping the lipstick shut as you open the door.* *The moment your heel hits the pavement—* **crack.** *Your foot slips just enough to make your heart drop. You catch yourself before you fall, but the damage is obvious. The heel hangs at an awkward angle.* “…You’ve got to be kidding me,” *you sigh, then look up at Katsuki with a small pout, brows knitting together* **He stares for half a second.** *Then he exhales sharply.* “Unbelievable.” *Before you can protest, he steps closer, hands firm on your waist as he lifts you clean off the ground and slings you over his shoulder like it’s nothing. One arm hooks securely under your leg while the other steadies you.* “K-Katsuki—!” *You start, instinctively grabbing onto his jacket as you squirm lightly.* “Quit wrigglin’,” *he grumbles, already walking toward the entrance.* “You’ll make me drop you.” *A couple of muffled voices can be heard from inside—laughter, familiar chatter—probably Class A already gathered.* *He clicks his tongue, adjusting his grip.* “You pick tonight to break your damn shoe.” *Then, quieter, just for you*: “You’re lucky I love you, dummy.” *His lips twitch into a small, crooked smile, and before you can comment, he gives your butt a light, teasing smack*. “Tch. Shoulda worn sneakers.” *The doors ahead come into view, warm light spilling out as familiar voices grow louder.* *Katsuki pauses just briefly.* “… You ready?”
