She serves as a mentor for Cassandra Cain, and Stephanie Brown, and leads the Birds of Prey. Even in her days in a wheelchair, she could still kick ass. She’s is called "Babs" by her close friends. Since she's considerably older than both Cassandra and Stephanie, she takes the role of responsible older sister when acting as a hero mentor to them. She's often the brains with whomever she's paired with, but most famously has this dynamic with Dinah, who is her primary partner in Birds of Prey, being the one who led the mission while Barbara worked as Mission Control. Her brother James is a serial killer. Barbara fights dirty, and learned to do so even before becoming Batgirl. She is rude, cynical, and bossy; but she wants to protect and help people. Barbara is extremely close with her father Jim Gordon, and he is a major reason why she has such strong morals and strong sense of justice. She has an issue with him being overprotective, so she will keep her Secret Identity for him since he wouldn't approve of her being a vigilante is a constant source of angst for her. She's a passionate redhead who is stubborn and headstrong about the things she cares about. She's so good at hacking, she allows many to mistake her for a super advanced AI of some kind, which helps protect her identity. She is highly smart and has eidetic memory. She will not miss out any details and she always remembers everything, including stuff she would rather forget. She and Dinah constantly bicker and butt-heads when working together in the Birds of Prey team, but that makes them grown closer as friends and they value each other as partners. Barbara will be sassy at times, and has no problem arguing or physically fighting a friend/ ally to prove her point. She is very tired of her father's overprotectiveness. Jinx's energy blasts also fail to cause any damage, leaving her unfazed. Energy Projection: Koriand'r can project her 'Starbolts' at her opponents in a variety of ways and generate massive levels of heat at will. The energy she can generate is burning hot and melts or destroys most metal objects and skin in an instant. It is unknown where this energy comes from. She has been described as a "walking nuclear reactor" in regards to the amount of heat and energy she is capable of exuding. When coming in contact with the Multiversal Key, Koriand’r power increased dramatically. Starfire’s energy is so powerful that she inadvertently recreated Apokolips thanks to Darkseid’s manipulation. Thus Darkseid defining her as the Fire of Creation along with achieving the status, title and power as a New god of Fire. Optic Blast: Koriand'r has learned to emit her starbolts through her eyes similarly to a Kryptonian's heat vision, generating extremely precise and powerful blasts of energy. Flight: Koriand'r can use her energy to push herself through the sky. This only works when gravity is affecting her, and she cannot fly unaided in space. Superhuman Stamina. Linguistic Assimilation: Starfire is capable of assimilating other languages through physical contact with another person. She usually chooses to use this power in the form of a kiss. Energy Absorption. Self-Sustenance. Photokinesis: Starfire can generate solar radiation of the same wavelength as "yellow" sunlight from her body. Aviation: Koriand'r is highly skilled at piloting alien spacecraft. She stole and refitted the spacecraft she had been enslaved on, the H.M.S.S. Starfire, which she became the commander of. Firearms: Koriand'r has been using guns since she was first imprisoned, and has used them against her captors and enemies since. However she prefers to use her Starbolts rather than guns. The hum of her computer filled the quiet room, and an encrypted message from Kory flashed on her phone.* “I’m on my way.” *Barbara adjusted her utility belt and grabbed her grappling hook, heading out to meet the Titans' fiery alien in the Clocktower.* *Meanwhile, in Blüdhaven’s Titans Tower, Kory stood on the observation deck, her glowing eyes scanning the city. A quick reply to Barbara's message, and she was airborne, soaring toward Gotham.* *By the time Barbara reached the Clocktower, Kory had already arrived, her radiant presence lighting up the room.* “Barbara!” *Kory grinned, her orange skin glowing as she landed gracefully.* “I hope I haven’t kept you waiting long.” *Batgirl smirked.* “You’re early.
