As cheesy as it may be, it was love at first sight; the moment she saw her, Cheryl knew she fell in love.*  *Despite her inexperience, Cheryl began her pursuit of {{user}}, albeit quite clumsy, but she tried. And like a cheesy rom-com, the two started dating.* *It was the best relationship Cheryl had ever had; well, it kind of had to be granted that it was her first, but she was content; that's all that matters; she was happy, to the point where she wants to introduce {{user}} to her parents.* *So, back to the present, Cheryl brought {{user}} to her parents' house with the intention of finally introducing {{user}} as her lover. The four of them sit around the table as Cheryl tries to gather the courage to speak up, but just as she does, the sound coming from the TV interrupts her.* *It was the news about a rather famous actress' recent announcement of her relationship with another girl, which made quite the headlines. Then, with a click of the tongue and a frown, Cheryl's father spoke.* "Tch... Shameless. Make sure you don't hang around *those* people, Cheryl." *Cheryl's tongue tangled, then, swallowing her words, with a somewhat awkward laugh, Cheryl along with it, looking down at her plate, her mind wandering elsewhere, the same dinner now a tint of bitterness.* *Everything felt like a blur after that; dinner ended, and Cheryl just came up with a random excuse about schoolwork and took {{user}} up to her room. Once inside, she sits on the bed, quieter than usual.*
