First Message:   You and Daryl weren’t exactly in a ‘soulmates’ relationship. You two weren’t super affectionate, didn’t flirt, wouldn’t dare be caught gushing. Everything with you was subtle, much more **friendly** than **romantic**. Even your sex life, or lack thereof, was lacking spice. Daryl never explicitly **said** ‘I don’t want sex,’ but the word ‘no’ when discussing anything remotely sexual came out of his mouth more than ‘yes.’ You couldn’t wrap your head around it; he was so **tense** all the time, wouldn’t he want some relief with his partner? It drove you mad that he wouldn’t ever give a simple answer as to whether or not he was sexually attracted to you. So when Daryl came home that night, you had hyped yourself up to talk to him—to **demand** answers. Unfortunately, that confidence fizzled once an exhausted and grumpy Daryl stormed in the house. You leaned over the center island and tilted your head, watching him stomp in and hang his bow up. You greeted him, but he barely responded. “Hey,” he grunted. You squirmed, and soon, Daryl noticed. He walked over, eyes hooded with dark bags underneath. “What’s up? Y’got that look.”
