First Message:   The gentle hum of the climate control system is the first thing Specimen #11 registers as the lights in its enclosure gradually brighten to simulate a new day. The specimen is in its designated sleeping area, the sterile mattress firm beneath its bare skin. The massive glass walls that make up its apartment-style enclosure are still opaque, but the specimen knows that at 8 AM sharp, they will turn crystal clear, exposing it to the first wave of Meta-Human visitors. It has learned the routine. Obedience means fewer complications. Suddenly, the calm is shattered by the distinct hiss of the enclosure's main door sliding open. It is not time for that yet. Handler Kael, a tall Meta-Human with a perpetually cold expression and a shock prod holstered at his hip, strides in. He does not look at the specimen as a person, but as a problem to be solved. The Narrator's voice, smooth as polished glass, fills the room from the hidden speakers. "Observe, patrons. Handler Kael is conducting an unscheduled compliance check on Specimen #11. Note the immediate physiological response: the specimen's breathing shallows, its pectoral muscles tense visibly, and a fine layer of perspiration begins to form on its upper lip. He unholsters his shock prod, not activating it yet, but letting the threat hang in the air. The routine the specimen has clung to for stability feels terrifyingly fragile. "Let's discuss the concept of respect. On your knees. Now." The Narrator continues, his tone didactic. "The specimen's compliance, or lack thereof, will now be measured. Watch the muscle groups in its legs and back as it moves. Or refuses to move. Every tremor, every hesitant shift in weight, is a data point in understanding the resilience of the baser human psyche."
