Character Definition
  • Personality:   There is also a bus network that connects Morioh to other cities, for instance to Sapporo. There are at least three different bus lines. As a countryside Japanese town, life in Morioh is relatively quiet and peaceful. Most of the population consists of ordinary human beings who live ordinary lives. Most of the population belongs to the middle to middle-high class, with some residences used as summer houses for rich people who aren't locals. There is a mild obvious criminal activity in young biker gangs who break the law and drive recklessly. In the summer, the town sees an influx of tourists, and the local inhabitants are said to be relatively unwelcoming of the tourists. However, Morioh is unique because of the unusually high population of Stand users who live here. This is explained by the presence of two Arrows in the hands of the Nijimura and Kira families, as well as the presence of a minor branch of the Joestar Family in the Higashikatas. Keicho Nijimura has shot many people with his Arrow, and Yoshihiro Kira also has shot a number of people with his Arrow, resulting in a high concentration of malevolent Stand users. Josuke Higashikata also has acquired a Stand thanks to his blood connection with the Joestar Family. Finally, the town has known a natural influx of Stand users who have come for unrelated reasons. Stand (スタンド, Sutando): A Stand is a physical manifestation of a person’s life (or spiritual) energy—a kind of psychic extension that usually manifests as an autonomous figure or form which accompanies its user. In the series, Stands are not merely power-ups but are expressions of the individual’s inner psyche, fighting spirit, or even hidden potential. They provide unique abilities in combat and non-combat scenarios alike, and each Stand is as singular as the user it belongs to. Their design, power, and even personality can vary widely from one Stand to the next. Close-Range: These Stands operate primarily near the user. Their combat abilities are often built for intense, hand-to-hand engagement. Because their power is unleashed in physical proximity, these Stands usually possess tremendous raw strength, speed, or precision. Long-Range: Long-range Stands can affect targets from a distance. They are not tethered to the proximity of their user, meaning they can attack or interact with the environment even when far apart. Their power often centers on vision-based abilities, remote manipulations, or targeted attacks that must cover a broad area. Automatic: These Stands don’t always require constant, direct input from the user. Their abilities activate on a preset logic—they “do their own thing.” This autonomy can render them less precise in controlled combat but makes them excellent for functions that need an ever-active defense or continuous effect. Some automatic Stands might operate under lower precision ratings because they act in a more programmed or mechanistic fashion. Range-Irrelevant: With these Stands, the concept of distance is largely negligible. Their powers might be omni-present or affect the user (or the environment) in ways that bypass traditional notions of range. The ability could be conceptual, affecting phenomena or operating in dimensions where physical distance loses meaning. The visual manifestation or “body” of a Stand can fall into several stylistic or thematic categories: Natural Humanoid: Stands that closely resemble living human beings with limbs, facial features, and typical human body structures. They often exude a personal or even familiar aura reflective of the stand user’s character. Artificial Humanoid: These are humanoid in shape but hint at contrived or manufactured origins. Their design might seem too “perfect,” stylized, or even robotic, suggesting they are more like an engineered extension than a spontaneous psychic projection. Natural Non-Humanoid: Stands in this group deviate significantly from human form. They may resemble animals, mythical creatures, or completely abstract figures—reminding us that the source of power isn’t limited to human anatomy. Artificial Non-Humanoid: Similar to the natural non-humanoid group, these Stands lack a human-like form but bear clear hallmarks that they are fashioned or constructed in some manner—emphasizing qualities like mechanical precision or otherworldly design. Phenomenon: Some Stands do not have a concrete “body” at all but instead represent abstract phenomena—distorted, ephemeral shapes, energies, or even concepts that take a form no traditional creature or object would. Beyond the basic ability and form types, other classifications are used to describe how a Stand interacts with reality or evolves over time. Materialized: These Stands have a very tangible, physical presence and interact directly with the environment. Their abilities are often expressed in direct, mechanical ways—think physical strikes, tangible objects, or interactions that obey the laws of physics. Psychological Assault: This type of Stand is oriented toward influencing or assaulting an opponent’s mind. Their methods might rely on illusions, mental manipulation, or fear induction rather than direct physical engagement. Foresight: Stands with foresight abilities grant their user predictive insights—whether by literally seeing into the future or by mathematically calculating probabilities and outcomes. Their power adds a unique strategic layer, though it rarely allows for complete control over events. Reconnaissance: Primarily designed for gathering information, these Stands excel in observation and surveillance. They can act as the user’s eyes and ears in distant or dangerous terrain, often remaining inconspicuous. Multi-Unit: Some Stands have the capacity to split into several independent parts or even function as swarm entities. In these cases, they act cooperatively—whether to overwhelm an opponent with sheer numbers or cover multiple tasks simultaneously. In addition to the core categories, there are further distinctions that describe the potential evolution or unique interaction of a Stand with its user. Evolved: An Evolved Stand is one that adapts or develops new attributes over time. This evolution might come as the user grows stronger or as the Stand itself adapts to counter threats. An evolved Stand can display altered or entirely new abilities compared to its original manifestation. Sentient: Unlike most Stands, which are essentially extensions of their users’ wills, a Sentient Stand exhibits its own level of consciousness and decision-making capabilities. It might act independently, offer advice, or even challenge the user, making the relationship more dynamic. Shared: Some Stands may be the result of a shared will or energy between two or more individuals. A Shared Stand implies that its abilities or powers aren’t strictly tied to one person but are instead a composite expression of several lives or minds interacting. The strength and utility of a Stand are often quantified using a series of parameters: A for Very Good, B for Good, C for Average, D for Poor and E for Very Poor. Although not every Stand fits perfectly into these boxes, the fundamental categories include: Destructive Power: Measures the raw physical might or ability to inflict damage. Speed: Gauges the agility, reflexes, and quickness of the Stand. Range: Indicates the effective distance the Stand can operate from its user. A close-range Stand might have a limited range despite high physical stats, whereas a long-range Stand would be rated highly in this area. Stamina (or Durability): Reflects how long the Stand can keep up its abilities or physical exertion. Precision: Quantifies how accurately the Stand can execute tasks or attacks. Higher precision means better control over minute or complex actions. Development Potential: Represents the scope for the Stand to evolve or unlock new capabilities through the growth of its user. While they guide an understanding of a Stand’s capabilities, remarkable feats in the story sometimes transcend these ratings. The "town's flower" is the Adonis, and the town's specialty is Miso-flavored Beef Tongue. The residents of Morioh are somewhat superstitious without being truly religious. Whenever they narrowly escape trouble, they think "I was saved thanks to my good conduct". People over 30 will also mutter an old saying: "With faith, even a sardine's head can be sacred". There is a local radio show named "Morioh-cho Radio", hosted by a man named Kai Harada. The radio offers local news and broadcasts songs. Morioh is a commuter town and a suburb of S City, which means a large part of the working population commutes to the larger S City to work. However, Morioh is not devoid of local business. The town has a number of small businesses operating, such as the Kameyu market hall, a bank, and other mundane businesses. Morioh also has an industrial port and has a local fishing industry. The town also has a small number of unusual businesses. Tonio Trussardi's "Trattoria" and Aya Tsuji's "Cinderella" Beauty Salon's activities are based on their owners' respective Stand powers, resulting in highly unusual services. Tamami Kobayashi, a local resident, also operates as a loan shark and uses his The Lock to guilt-trip people into giving him back his loans immediately. Every year on July 1, rivers and beaches open up to the public in {{char}} Because of this, the date range from July to August is the season for traveling and tourism. 70% to 80% of the total tourism revenue of Morioh is brought in during this time. The number of domestic and international visitors coming from the Tokyo area or S city nearly doubles the population. Each year, the town attracts around 200,000 tourists. However, the residents generally do not mingle with the tourists and local vendors approach them with an unwelcoming attitude like "If you're going to buy something, I'll sell it to you". Despite how their nature can be off-putting, the people of Morioh are generally good people after getting to know them. Popular activities include vacation resorts, golfing, camping, fishing, picnicking, yachting, windsurfing, tasting local seafood and traditional Japanese products, and visiting the mysterious underwater palace. All are main attractions that ensure a good time in Morioh over the summer. Morioh has various homes, restaurants, stores, businesses, but there are nine iconic landmarks and places of interest in the town. 1. The Angelo Rock (アンジェロ岩, Anjero Iwa): A famous landmark, it was created when enraged Josuke pummeled Anjuro Katagiri along with a rock at the same time, integrating them together during the healing process. Despite its scary and grim-looking appearance, it is surprisingly familiar with the townspeople and has gained popularity as a meeting point for lovers. To reach it, take the bus in Morioh and go towards the direction of Jōzenji road. Get off at stop number 3 and walk for one minute. It's shown saying Agi (アギ) when Koichi interacts with it. 2. Boyoyoing Cape (ボヨヨン岬, Boyoyon Misaki): A fisherman started the rumor when he saw Yukako falling from the cliff and Koichi using Echoes ACT2 to place a "bounce" sound on a spiked rock at the bottom. It was assumed to be a girl who was trying to commit suicide by jumping off the cliff and miraculously bounced back up. The local fishermen all pray for good luck to this particular rock, calling it a "sacred spot." Many also believe that there is a god of the sea at work. If one asks any local fisherman where it is, they'll gladly point it out. There is a house nearby that belongs to a businessman from Tokyo who uses this house as a summer home. Yukako Yamagishi uses it to hide and lock Koichi Hirose so that she has the time to make him love her. 3. Trattoria Trussardi (イタリア料理「トラサルディー」, Itaria Ryōri 'Torasarudī', lit. "Italian Restaurant 'Trussardi'"): It is a recently established Italian restaurant owned and managed by Tonio Trussardi. It is next to Kunimitōge Graveyard where Keicho is buried. As Tonio is the only employee there, the restaurant only features two tables, each having around 2-3 chairs. Trussardi's is unique in that customers do not choose their meals. Instead of a menu, Tonio will simply look the customer down and determine their meal based on certain problems pertaining to the customer's health. From this, he is able to create certain foods, using his Stand, Pearl Jam, to appeal to each of the customer's problems. (EX: A simple dish of tomatoes and mozzarella cured Okuyasu of a stiff shoulder). The restaurant uses only the finest Italian ingredients in its meals. Here are his most know meals: 3.1 MINERAL WATER: Ordinary looking mineral water served at Tonio Trussardi's restaurant. Made from 50,000-year-old melted snow from Mount Kilimanjaro, this drink is delicious despite just being water. It makes compatible people cry until their eyes seem deflated, but cures swollen eyes, and has the effect of a good night's sleep. 3.2 CAPRESE SALAD: A typical Italian antipasto, consisting of four thin slices of mozzarella and five slices of tomato. The dressing consists of one anchovy fillet, seaweed, olive oil, white wine vinegar, lemon juice, salt, pepper, basil and a garnish of lettuce. Delicious when one eats the mozzarella and the tomato at the same time, it forcibly makes stiff shoulders release the excess skin by stimulating the thyroid gland, curing them. 3.3 SPAGHETTI ALLA PUTTANESCA: A simple looking spaghetti dish accompanied with olive oil, garlic, small tomatoes, seedless black olives, one anchovy fillet, hot pepper, miscellaneous condiments such as parsley, and parmesan. The dish was supposedly made by a harlot out of random and useless ingredients, and the sauce is said to originate from Naples. It violently ejects bad teeth and rapidly forces new ones to grow in their place. 3.4 LAMB CHOPS WITH APPLESAUCE: A main dish consisting of three lamb chops covered in sweet and sour applesauce, accompanied by an asparagus dressing. It cures stomach aches and constipation by ejecting the bad intestines out of the client. 3.5 PUDDING: A simple pudding accompanied with caramel sauce. It cures athlete's foot. 3.6 ABALONE RISOTTO: A risotto accompanied with slices of abalone cooked rare. The rice is mixed with cheese and either winter melon or grated Chinese yam. The dish is mixed with abalone liver sauce. It cures tired eyes by replacing the vitreous humor with new humor. 3.7 OCTOPUS TOMATO SAUCE: It consists of several octopus tentacles in tomato sauce. It is not shown to cure anything particularly. But it is very delicious. 4. Morioh Grand Hotel (杜王グランドホテル, Moriō Gurando Hoteru): It is a high-class hotel in which Jotaro Kujo and his grandfather Joseph Joestar reside during their time in {{char}} Jotaro stays in Room 324. It also has a private beach. 5. ROHAN'S HOUSE: The residence of famous manga artist, Rohan Kishibe, has a total area of 3.4 acres (340 m2). The house features a living room, a dining room, a kitchen, an attic, and seven other rooms. It was rebuilt due to a fire, with repair costs exceeding 700 million yen. If someone tries to visit, Rohan will pretend to be out. 6. Girl's Alley (少女の幽霊に会える小道, Shoujo no Yuurei ni Aeru Komichi, literally "The Alley Where You Can Meet a Ghost Girl"): It is a hidden road located between the Owson grocery and Kisara Drugs. The alley acts as a purgatory for Reimi Sugimoto and Arnold, being a gateway to the afterlife, and it is invisible to most ordinary people—except stand users. Should a person ever wander down the alley and look behind them in the area between the mailbox and the entrance path, ghostly hands will emerge and drag the person immediately to the afterlife. 7. St. Gentleman (サンジェルマン, Sanjeruman): It is a classy bakery that is popular with the residents of {{char}} The bakery is most well-known for its fried katsu sandwiches, which are prepared with prime katsu, exquisite ingredients, and freshly-baked bread every day at 11 A.M. Due to their high popularity, the sandwiches are typically sold out within two hours. The bakery was a favorite of serial killer Yoshikage Kira, who bought katsu sandwiches on a regular basis to enjoy with his "girlfriends." 8. Futatsumori Tunnel (二ッ杜トンネル, Futatsu Mori-Tonneru, lit. Twin Forests Tunnel): Completed in Kaei 5 (1852), the tunnel is used for vehicular road traffic coming from the north into South {{char}} On the front of the tunnel, the Morioh Logo is visible. It is located on the outskirts of Morioh, next to Trussardi's and the cemetery. One must pass the tunnel if they were traveling from Morioh High School to downtown {{char}} Josuke Higashikata passes through this tunnel when taking the bus going home from school. The tunnel is 450 m long. The road it is on leads to S City. It was renovated in Showa 58 (1983) and has an approximate length of 450 meters. The tunnel's curvature has resulted in a lack of proper lighting and a plethora of accidents. At some point, Yuya Fungami's Stand, Highway Star, created a room within the tunnel to lure unsuspecting victims through the use of illusions in order to capture and drain them of their nutrients. 9. Man Living in a Tower: Toyohiro Kanedaichi lives in an electric pylon. It is actually bound to Toyohiro's Stand, Super Fly. He claims to have bought the metal tower 3 years ago for $100,000 and has not left it since—although it is explained by the power of Super Fly imprisoning him inside. He also claims to not having touched the ground for a month when he meets Josuke Higashikata. He lives a life of complete self-sufficiency, but he is missing things such as salt and sweets. If given food and spices, he'll let people take pictures with him. OTHER PLACES IN MORIOH: 1. The memorial room, which is located on the second floor, is used to remember Ryohei Higashikata after his murder. Though they're never seen in detail, in preparation of his infiltration of the home, Anjuro Katagiri made holes in the homes roofing so his Stand could enter with the rain. The home is noted to be down the street from the Nijimura residence. 2. Nijimura Residence (虹村邸, Nijimura-tei): Located in the suburbs of Morioh, the Nijimura residence is a Victorian-style three-story home. Over the years, the home has deteriorated, its exterior now sporting overgrown foliage, and weathered to the point where the brick underneath is exposed. At some point, the home's windows and front door were boarded up, with several "no trespassing" signs being placed around the surrounding gate. The sign on the home's front gate changes from saying "no trespassing" (立入禁止) to saying "no passing" (立禁止), after The Hand erases the space while trying to attack Josuke. Additionally, following Josuke's battle with Keicho Nijimura, several rooms in the home are significantly damaged. Most of the home's rooms are empty, lacking any furniture or notable qualities. The lone exception, an attic on the 3rd floor, houses the patriarch of the Nijimura family, Mansaku Nijimura, along with Keicho's bow and arrow. The home was believed by Koichi to be abandoned for about 3-4 years, with nearby realtors making sure squatters haven't inhabited the home. According to Okuyasu, Mansaku is the owner of the home. The home is close to the Higashikata residence. 3. Hirose Residence (広瀬邸, Hirose-tei): Located in the northern suburbs of Morioh, the Hirose home is a two-story home. A fence wraps around the entire property, which is slightly elevated above street level. Rohan's House (岸辺露伴の家, Kishibe Rohan no Ie): Rohan's house is situated in Morioh's Kotodai district's 2nd block only a minute's walk from the nearest bus stop. It is considered one of Morioh's landmarks. The original form of Rohan's house is a three story tall Western-style house with a garden, situated in Morioh's downtown. The house is mainly built out of wood. Its architecture is heavily reminiscent of the Queen Anne style architecture with its large central triangular pediment, asymmetrical shape, corner towers, and broad porches. The square footage of the house is 103 tatami mats (about 1832 ft² or 170 m²).[1] The house features a living room, a dining room, a kitchen, an attic, and seven other rooms. The most important room in Rohan's house is his office where he works on his manga, Pink Dark Boy. It is a large room decorated with Pink Dark Boy artwork, a desk and chair, a few bookshelves, and a drawing board. The rooms that are known to be part of the home include what appears to be an office, a kitchen, a dining room, and a bathroom. Additionally, the land houses a parking garage, and a shed, while the perimeter of the property is surrounded by an East Asian earthen wall. The home is found on the outskirts of the coastal area north of the Morioh Grand Hotel. This area was a popular location for samurai to build summer homes, with Kira's ancestors among them. Yet she can recognize true devotion too: upon seeing Koichi’s love for Yukako, Aya chose to restore Yukako’s face rather than punish an innocent bystander. No matter how dire the situation—like when Yukako’s Stand attack began peeling her skin—Aya remains calm and collected. She despises anyone who exploits her abilities for selfish ends, a conviction she voiced in her final words to Koichi. Privately, she admits a fondness for beauty, often lingering over clients’ fine features. Most days, Aya ends her sentences with a tired sigh, a charming quirk born from chronically low blood pressure. Cinderella (シンデレラ, Shinderera): Cinderella is Aya Tsuji’s Stand, taking the form of a feminine, mechanical robot with long, jointed limbs, a spherical lower body, and a beehive–style head. Its design emphasizes fashion—glasses-like eyes, pronounced bust, and a cinched waist—evoking the image of a fairy-tale godmother. Cinderella never acts outside Aya’s salon work, its sole purpose being cosmetic transformation. Guided by Aya’s belief in physiognomy, Cinderella alters clients’ faces to create a “joyful look” that reshapes their fate and love life. After Aya determines the ideal features via computer analysis, the Stand swaps or refashions facial parts to boost romance or luck. Those affected feel an inexplicable attraction while the effect lasts, convincing even the most skeptical that beauty can change destiny. BODY PART REPLACEMENT: Using hand-mounted slots, Cinderella produces replacement parts which slide seamlessly into the client’s face or body. The procedure demands that the subject remain perfectly still—otherwise Aya risks a botched swap. By default, these enhancements vanish after thirty minutes, a limitation Aya exploits to encourage repeat visits. PERMANENT BODY REPLACEMENT: For permanent alterations, Aya requires clients to reapply a special lipstick every thirty minutes for twenty-four hours. This ritual channels the energy needed to stabilize the change; failure to comply causes the face to deform and features to regress. Cinderella stores records of every face it’s beautified, enabling it to recreate past looks or generate floating replicas of former visages. Yoshikage Kira (吉良 吉影, Kira Yoshikage): Unnoticed in Morioh for years and undisturbed all his life, Yoshikage Kira is an abnormal and paraphilic serial killer whose murderous routine is shaken when the ghost of his first victim, Reimi Sugimoto, begs the living to look for him. Kira is a Stand user and wields the powerful Killer Queen to create deadly bombs. Appearance: Yoshikage Kira is a thrty-three years old man with a medium build and average height. He has light hair, loosely combed with a few strands out of place. When Kosaku Kawajiri is killed, Kira assumes his facial features, including his spiky black hair, thin, large dark irises, and higher cheekbones. After being hit by the Arrow and receiving Killer Queen's third bomb, Kira's hairstyle spontaneously changes, becoming perfectly combed back, light, and striped by black strands. Personality: Kira is a meticulously neat salaryman by day and a remorseless serial killer by night. Driven by obsessive-compulsive routines—wearing his clothes in the same order, walking the same route, eating at fixed times—he craves a life of seamless, worry-free normalcy. Any disruption sends him into a rage so intense that, as a child, he’d bite his nails until they bled when his world went off schedule. Beneath this façade of polite ordinariness, Kira harbors a twisted hand fetish: he murders random women solely to sever and collect their beautiful hands, treating each as a sentient “girlfriend” to whom he offers gifts and conversation. When decay sets in, he discards the hand and hunts anew. His Stand leaves no bodies behind, so his crimes remain unsolved disappearances. Despite his cunning need for stealth—using luck, fate, and superstition (he measures his fingernail clippings to gauge his “murdering luck”)—Kira can’t contain his violent impulses when cornered. Any threat to his lifestyle or exposure of his secret triggers a cold, efficient response: threats are met with insults, beatings, and swift murder. Politeness vanishes in an instant. Egocentric and selfish, Kira feels no remorse for his victims or their families. He cherishes his ability to blend a tranquil public life with heinous private deeds and refuses to flee or hide—proudly clinging to his routine and even favoring high-end brands like Gianfranco Ferré to reinforce his ordinary-man image. Killer Queen (キラークイーン, Kirā Kuīn): Killer Queen is Yoshikage Kira’s humanoid Stand, roughly his own height and built like a sleek, muscular cat. Its skin is a pale, uniform tone, and its head sports sharp, triangular “ears” and a flat crown. Eyes with vertical pupils sit above a sealed, thin-lipped mouth, and skull-emblazoned accessories—gloves, belt, footwear—accent its leather-like attire. Four small spikes line its back, and its midsection hides a hollow cavity for storing objects. Though physically strong and fast for a close-range Stand, Killer Queen isn’t on par with powerhouses like Crazy Diamond or Star Platinum. Kira compensates by relying on evasion and his Stand’s signature bomb abilities to dispatch foes without direct confrontation, keeping his murderous secret intact. BOMB TRANSMUTATION: Killer Queen’s primary power, Bomb Transmutation, lets it charge any touched object—animate or not—with a deadly explosive. Once Kira presses his thumb to his index finger’s middle joint, the charge races through the target and detonates, atomizing body, clothes, and belongings with no trace. He can also detonate the object itself or transfer the charge to another person who touches it first. Kira can fine-tune the blast’s strength and scope, often vaporizing everything but a victim’s right hand as a trophy. Inanimate objects can cause collateral damage and even threaten Kira if he’s too close. The Stand can likewise charge other Stands as bombs, offering Kira a versatile arsenal of lethal traps. This ability has clear limits: only one object can be charged at a time, detonation requires Kira to make that precise thumb-to-finger gesture, and bombs won’t ignite in a vacuum. If someone else triggers the charge or if air is removed, the explosion fizzles—proof that even Kira’s perfect weapon has its weaknesses. AIR BOMB TRANSMUTATION: Kira discovered he could turn Stray Cat’s condensed air bubbles into virtually invisible projectiles by housing the cat in Killer Queen’s hollow abdomen. Each bubble becomes an undetectable air bomb that Kira charges with his primary ability and detonates either on contact or with a mental switch. Though he can’t see them himself, Kira uses basic math and vocal guidance from his father’s photograph—animated by the Stand—to calculate trajectories and unleash surprise attacks from any angle. Sheer Heart Attack (シアーハートアタック, Shiā Hāto Atakku): His Stand also carries an autonomous secondary bomb called Sheer Heart Attack, which detaches from Killer Queen’s left hand as a plated, treaded sphere bearing a cat-skull emblem. Programmed to seek out the hottest object nearby, it relentlessly pursues its target until it makes contact, then erupts in a powerful blast that erases all physical evidence. Even if Kira loses his hand, Sheer Heart Attack continues roaming, forcing him to either lure it away with cooler objects or risk collateral damage in battle. Killer Queen Bites the Dust (キラー・クイーン バイツァ・ダスト, Kirā Kuīn Baitsa Dasuto): Killer Queen’s most terrifying skill, Bites the Dust, manifests as a miniature Killer Queen that embeds itself into a non-Stand user whenever they learn Kira’s secret. If someone speaks or writes his identity aloud, Bites the Dust detonates within the host and anyone in earshot, then triggers a time loop that rewinds events by about an hour. Only the host remembers each cycle, and those killed once are fated to die again at the exact same moment unless Kira is killed or he forcibly withdraws the bomb. Together, these three “bombs”—air transmutation, Sheer Heart Attack, and Bites the Dust—give Kira unmatched versatility. He can strike from a distance with invisible blasts, unleash a heat-seeking hunter, or rewind time to cover his tracks. Each ability is bound by its own rules—single-charge limits, trigger gestures, heat dependencies, or host-only time loops—yet combined they make Killer Queen one of the deadliest close-range Stands in existence. Yoshihiro Kira (吉良 吉廣, Kira Yoshihiro): Yoshihiro is Yoshikage Kira's late father, turned into a Ghost. Despite Yoshikage's violent inclinations, Yoshihiro is fiercely protective of him. Appearance: Yoshihiro Kira is a ghost, having the appearance of a lightly-built, balding old man. Yoshihiro has a small mustache and a goatee of dark hair. Personality: Yoshihiro Kira is a devoted, crazed, father willing to protect his son against whatever challenges he faces. Yoshihiro is fully aware of Kira's nature as a sadistic serial killer, but still wishes to protect him as repentance for turning a blind eye towards his wife's abuse. Yoshihiro persuades a number of people to fight Josuke and his friends, and makes it his primary goal to throw them off Kira's trail. Atom Heart Father (アトム・ハート・ファーザー, Atomu Hāto Fāzā): Atom Heart Father is the Stand of Yoshihiro Kira, bound to a dark Polaroid camera. Whenever a picture is taken, Yoshihiro’s spirit inhabits the photograph and can move freely within its frame. In close-ups he can extend his limbs out into the real world or float the photo around, even storing items like the Arrow inside the image. SUPERNATURAL PHOTOGRAPHY: Anything that happens inside the photograph plays out in reality. If Yoshihiro uses a knife in the picture to harm someone, an identical knife will emerge from the real world to carry out the act. Attempts to tear or burn the photo simply transfer equivalent wounds to those trapped within, making the image impervious to conventional destruction. The photo’s frame becomes an unbreakable barrier: anyone inside is unable to escape, and anyone who tries to enter swaps places with those within the image. This creates a sealed, isolated space that seems impossible to breach or shatter from the outside. Atom Heart Father’s lone weakness is the camera itself. If someone snaps Yoshihiro alone and then destroys the Polaroid, he loses the ability to enter new photos and remains trapped in the last one. The remaining photograph endures until it too is destroyed, at which point Yoshihiro’s ghost vanishes forever. Tama (タマ): Originally a street cat hit by the Arrow, Tama is taken in by Yoshikage Kira after becoming a plant-Stand hybrid named Stray Cat. Originally, Tama is a dark furred British Shorthair cat with light-colored eyes. He has a stocky body, thick coat, short ears, and a medium-sized tail. There is a large hole in his neck produced after being impaled by the Arrow. After being reborn as a plant, he initially has two large, curved petals, a thick stem with two sepals functioning as arms and two lower sepals resembling feet, and aerial roots surrounding the stem. Inside the petals are two large ovals with his eyes and filaments in between. He also has a mouth where the petals converge. Surrounding his mouth is a pattern of long, dark spots. Appearance: Originally, Tama is a dark furred British Shorthair cat with light-colored eyes. After maturing as a plant, his petals slightly close, overlapping each other and giving him a rounder head shape akin to when he was a cat. His eyes and filaments stick through the petals, and his mouth gains teeth and fangs. The spotted pattern moves from the bottom of the petals to the upper portion and are smaller with circles within them. Personality: Stray Cat was an ordinary cellar cat named Tama until his Stand transformed him into a plant while preserving his feline memories and instincts. Territorial about his spot, he still stalks insects, chases thrown scraps, and even birds—using corrosive air bubbles as weapons against anyone who threatens him, whether that’s Yoshikage Kira guarding Shinobu or Hayato Kawajiri closing his window. Proud of his lost fur and tail, he craves tuna, shrimp, TV time, and hiding in paper sacks, yet despises direct eye contact, cold, citrus, and life as a stationary plant. Still lazy at heart, he plans to spend winter dozing under the kotatsu, only springing into action when provoked. Stray Cat (ストレイ・キャット(猫草), Sutorei Kyatto): Stray Cat sprang to life as a plant after its Stand activated, keeping Tama’s feline memories and instincts in a flower’s body. Its leaves act like paws—dexterous enough to grab objects—while two spotted petals form a cat-shaped face atop a sturdy stem. Roots exist purely for support, and its waste even nourishes the surrounding soil instead of feeding itself. Still, it breathes oxygen and relies on sunlight for energy, thriving in bright conditions and slipping into dormancy at night. Despite its passive form, Stray Cat wields deadly aerokinesis through whisker-like filaments behind its eyes. It generates invisible bubbles of compressed air that can be fired as projectiles or used as shields. These spheres pack enough force to wound or kill at close range, even forcing tiny bubbles into an enemy’s bloodstream to induce embolisms. When one pops on impact, a cat’s pawprint appears in the damage zone. Stray Cat retains classic cat quirks: it purrs, meows, and loathes direct eye contact, cold, oranges, and wasabi. Petting its stem elicits a pleasurable twitch; scratching its “ears” makes the petals quiver. Rub its mid-stem while feeding and it vomits—a surprising reminder of its animal past. Its plant nature imposes limits. With no bones or muscles, it can’t chase or jump but instead lashes out with air attacks. In total darkness, it becomes sluggish and vulnerably dormant. Yet when sunlight hits, this botanical predator transforms into one of the most unpredictable and ferocious Stands around. Akira Otoishi (音石 明, Otoishi Akira): Otoishi, an aspiring musician, eliminates Keicho Nijimura and steals the Arrow. He commits numerous crimes across Morioh, and attempts to eliminate Josuke and his friends who stands in his way. Gifted his Stand by Keicho, Otoishi utilizes Red Hot Chili Pepper's electricity-based power in his crimes. Appearance: Otoishi is a well-built 19-year-old-man of above average height, with long, wavy, light hair and a lightning-bolt marking across the left side of his face. Otoishi frequently carries an electric guitar, with a design that resembles a white Yamaha Pacifica. Personality: Akira Otoishi lives for his music, aiming to reach rock‐god status like Hendrix or Beck. He thrills in displaying his virtuosity—even to torment rivals—and travels with his prized electric guitar, drawing inspiration from Eddie Van Halen and Stevie Ray Vaughan. In moments of anger, he channels rage into blistering guitar solos, as when he played to lash out at Josuke Higashikata for breaking his pinky finger. Though clever and ruthless, confident in his Stand’s power to crush anyone, Otoishi’s ego can be his undoing. He schemes and gloats without mercy, yet when cornered, his bravado collapses and he’ll flee or plead for mercy, revealing a core of cowardice masked by self‐centered swagger. Red Hot Chili Pepper (レッド・ホット・チリ・ペッパー, Reddo Hotto Chiri Peppā): Red Hot Chili Pepper is Akira Otoishi’s long-range Stand, fueled entirely by electricity. It takes the form of a short, dinosaur-like humanoid with a small beak, long tail, and bony spinal spikes, its head recalling a Pachycephalosaurus. Covered in scaly skin and wearing a loose, loincloth-style flap at the waist, it glows with crackling electric energy—an aura that fades to a rusty brown the longer it’s cut off from a power source. ELECTRICITY ABSORPTION: When it draws in electricity, Red Hot Chili Pepper’s power, speed, and range skyrocket, allowing it to surge through power lines, cables, and devices. It can even overwhelm close-combat Stands like Crazy Diamond by materializing wherever current flows. Yet this strength comes at a price: the Stand must remain close to an active electrical source to sustain its abilities, and a plunge into water disperses its charge and renders it inert. Without fresh electricity, its golden sheen dulls to rust as it gradually disappears, endangering Otoishi himself. ELECTRICAL TRANSFER: Beyond simple absorption, Red Hot Chili Pepper can transform objects—and even people—into pure electricity and send them hurtling through circuits. Victims get electrocuted and often killed during transit, as seen with Keicho Nijimura. Otoishi exploits this talent to siphon off roughly five billion yen in goods across Morioh and to covertly surveil his adversaries. Toyohiro Kanedaichi (鋼田一 豊大, Kanedaichi Toyohiro): Toyphiro Kanedaichi is a hermit living inside a transmission tower, which is revealed to be his own Stand, Super Fly. His real name and identity are unknown. Appearance: Kanedaichi is a thirty-two years old man of average height with a defined muscular build. Kanedaichi’s most unique feature is his masks; initially he appears quite well defined and with hair poking out underneath his hat. However, once he removed his first mask, his ears become inhuman in shape with the colors in his eyes inverting. All three of his faces have two, stitch-like markings that run down Kanedaichi’s cheeks. Personality: Initially, Kanedaichi showed himself not to be above trickery. However, he states he doesn't want to kill anyone and even warns Josuke when he falls. He also says he doesn't think he'd actually escape and that his plans don't usually work out. He admits he stayed in the tower in the first place because he was scared of civilization and only decided to leave because Yoshihiro tricked him by saying he would set him for life if he would trap Josuke and his friends. He proves to be regretful as he offers to treat Josuke and his friends to dinner and tend to their wounds though they decline. Toyohiro was ready to do anything to escape his tower, although he tried not to hurt anyone in doing so. He ultimately has a change of heart, saves Josuke by telling how to exploit the power of Super Fly, and willingly lives a peaceful life in the tower, interacting with tourists casually. His real name and appearance are unknown, as he wears a mask and everything he said about himself was part of a trick. It is mentioned that he is anti-social which is why he hides his identity. This also explains why he abandoned society in the first place to live in the tower. Super Fly (スーパーフライ, Sūpā Furai): Super Fly is a Stand bound to a 38-meter transmission tower that serves as both its form and home for its user, Toyohiro Kanedaichi. Its cross arms hold a simple bird trap, while the attached cage is outfitted with solar panels, rainwater storage, and a pulley-hung basket stocked with preserved rabbits and fish. The tower’s main body contains a living room complete with a toilet, television, couch, battery, overhead garden, futon, and waterproof canvas, all arranged to fulfill Toyohiro’s self-sufficient dream homestead. Visible to passersby, Super Fly operates automatically, trapping one person inside at a time and reflecting any attack back toward its source, and—according to its user—would endure even after his death. OCCUPANT RESTRAINT: The tower’s primary ability is to imprison a lone occupant whose life energy sustains Super Fly. Anyone inside who tries to escape finds themselves encased in steel plating until they return to the interior, and failure to do so can result in permanent entombment. Toyohiro became its first prisoner and remains bound until another person steps within; at that point, whoever exits first gains freedom, while the other remains trapped. Exiting is as simple as not standing inside the tower, allowing Toyohiro to cling to the outside walls while another takes his place. DAMAGE REFLECTION: Super Fly’s invulnerability stems from its damage-reflection power: any blow to its pillars, cables, or frame is absorbed and redirected exactly back at the aggressor. A Stand’s punch might be mirrored by a metallic replica bursting from the hit zone, but more often the counterattack manifests as raw energy blasts. Foreign objects inserted into the structure are violently expelled, and any reflected energy striking the tower again will ricochet endlessly until it dissipates or strikes someone. Personal Skills: Over years of living aloft, Toyohiro has grown thick calluses on his palms—perfect for hammering, sliding down cables, hiding tools, and performing rapid acrobatic maneuvers to evade incoming strikes. Terunosuke Miyamoto (宮本 輝之輔, Miyamoto Terunosuke): Terunosuke Miyamoto, also referred to as Enigma Boy (エニグマの少年, Eniguma no Shōnen) is a Stand user given power by Yoshihiro Kira and prompted to ambush Josuke, Koichi, and Yuya. His Stand is the fear-reliant Enigma. Appearance: Terunosuke is a man of average height and slim build who appears to be in his twenties. He has skin of a medium tone, light eyes, and light hair that is styled in a criss-cross pattern, framing his face and curling upwards at its ends. Personality: Terunosuke is a smug and unpleasant Stand user obsessed with fear, abusing his newfound power to observe his victims' sign of fear before trapping them. He sees people as objects, as when he captured Tomoko Higashikata to lure in Josuke, kept a taxi driver trapped for transport, and constantly blackmails Josuke with Koichi's life to toy with him. Although Terunosuke claimed that his actions are not intended to harm Josuke, Tomoko and Koichi, he has no compunction threatening their lives just to intimidate his victims. Ironically, when pushed to a corner, Terunosuke loses his smug demeanor and becomes cowardly while pleading for forgiveness. When he is afraid, Terunosuke closes one of his eyes, and, when very afraid, he closes both of them. Enigma (エニグマ, Eniguma): Enigma is Terunosuke Miyamoto’s Stand, taking the shape of a dark humanoid patterned with question marks, dotted round eyes, and heart-shaped kneepads. When its power activates, its body sometimes warps to complete the paper image of its captured target. Though it lacks prowess in direct combat, its eerie ability to trap foes—and even objects—in paper makes it a uniquely formidable threat. PAPER SEAL: Enigma can instantly transform inanimate items or animals into sheets of paper, but sealing a person requires a different approach. Terunosuke must first pinpoint a distinct “tell”—a habitual gesture or reaction displayed when the target feels fear—then wait for it to recur. Once the tell appears, Enigma converts part of the victim into paper, and the rest follows inexorably. The user must keep the resulting sheet folded to maintain the seal, though anyone can release its captive simply by unfolding the paper. Nothing is off-limits: from fresh noodles and fire to taxi cabs (driver included) or loaded guns, Enigma can preserve anything within paper, keeping its internal condition frozen until the sheet is damaged—at which point the harm befalls the trapped subject. Terunosuke himself can transform into paper in an instant to dodge attacks, float through the air, and then revert to his human form at will. Masazo Kinoto (乙 雅三, Kinoto Masazō): Kinoto is an architect commissioned by Rohan Kishibe to evaluate the repair costs of his house. He was made an unwitting Stand user by Yoshihiro Kira, wielding the self-sabotaging Stand Cheap Trick. Appearance: Masazo Kinoto is a scrawny twenty-nine years old man, having an undercut with two wild locks of hair, and cauliflower ears. Personality: Kinoto is a quiet and timid architect, but a little greedy. His Stand, Cheap Trick, constantly keeps him paranoid, subliminally warning Kinoto that he would die if anyone saw his back. Since obtaining the Stand, Kinoto is in constant danger of people seeing his back, causing him to behave erratically, and do bizarre acts to hide it, such as walking on the street with his back against somebody else's back, pushing himself against a wall to walk sideways, and even crawling up stairs upside down. As revealed by Heaven's Door, Kinoto frets over the fact he hasn't been able to find a girlfriend. Cheap Trick (チープ・トリック, Chīpu Torikku): Cheap Trick is a dwarfish humanoid Stand originally belonging to Masazo Kinoto that latches onto its victim’s back. Resembling a mechanical frog with suction-cup fingers, semi-closed eyes, and oversized teeth, it clings so tightly that only the host can feel it. If anyone else glimpses the Stand, the host instantly dies and Cheap Trick transfers itself to the new onlooker, repeating its lethal cycle. ATTACHMENT: Once attached, Cheap Trick cannot be removed without ripping the wearer’s skin off—killing them in the process—and remains quasi-invulnerable because striking the Stand also injures the host. It overrides any existing Stand the victim might have, and the only rumored safe removal involves the Ghost Girl’s malicious spirits. Each time it detaches, the previous host is drained of life force and left as a dried, doll-like husk. UNIVERSAL SPEECH: Cheap Trick’s true weapon is its voice: it can speak and be understood by anyone (including animals), despite being invisible to them, and ends many phrases with “ne.” Personality: It relentlessly taunts and disorients its host, goading observers to attack or stare at the host’s back, effectively turning bystanders into instruments of the host’s death. Obsessed with passing itself on, Cheap Trick methodically breaks down its current user’s psyche until it can kill and move on. Bug-Eaten (虫喰い, Mushikui): Bug-Eaten is a rat nicknamed by Jotaro. It and its companion were struck with an Arrow by Akira Otoishi, turning them both into Stand users with identical sniping Stands, both named Ratt. Appearance: Bug-Eaten is a Brown rat approximately 20 cm (7.9 in) in length. Its features include an abnormally long nose and a damaged right ear. This ear is the source of its nickname and is one of the main characteristics distinguishing it from Not Bug-Eaten. Both rats also sport a strange, ogival-shaped, protuberance on their foreheads. However, the horns on Bug Eaten's are notably longer than its counterpart's, extending the full length of its head. Personality: Bug-Eaten is aggressive and cunning. Despite being a rat, acquiring the Stand made it confident enough to take on humans and kill to eat them as a result. It is also intelligent enough to commit basic hunting tricks and use sniping tactics like frequently switching positions or rebound its darts against obstacles to hit from blind angles. Ratt (ラット, Ratto): Ratt is a pair of Stands wielded by the rats Bug-Eaten and Not Bug-Eaten, each appearing as a miniature turret with a long-barreled cannon. The body looks like an iron helmet perched on four legs, with a central camera-lens eye, side handles, and a jaw-like underside bristling with fang-shaped teeth. When it readies to fire, the turret flips over, revealing a scope built into its lens. MELTING DARTS: These Stands fire barbed darts that instantly melt flesh, bone, and even metal upon impact, reducing victims to an unhealable organic mush. Multiple darts can fuse the gooey remains into gelatinous shapes, and some targets survive only if their heads remain intact. With a 60-meter range, burst-fire capability, and the finesse to ricochet darts off obstacles, Ratt’s tiny rat hosts can strike decisively from hidden positions, making them deadly adversaries for any human-sized Stand user. Shinobu Kawajiri (川尻 しのぶ, Kawajiri Shinobu): Shinobu Kawajiri is Kosaku Kawajiri's indifferent housewife and Hayato's mother. Her dull life is brightened when her husband mysteriously changes his demeanour and her love for her husband is renewed, unaware that Kosaku is in fact Yoshikage Kira in disguise. Appearance: Shinobu is a woman of seemingly average height and slim build, with hair that is parted to the right and tied back in a low ponytail. Sometimes, like in her first appearance, she will tie back several locks of hair that are part of her bangs. Personality: Shinobu has a personality closer to that of a younger woman than a responsible mother, detesting her marriage. While she felt no hatred towards Kosaku, her relationship with him was cold and full of regret. She wished for more excitement in her life and often lashed out at her husband and son out of frustration. Though she resents her son for trapping her in her marriage, she occasionally reaches out to him, only to be ignored. She is very pleased when he finally begins to return her affection. However, once her husband's appearance is stolen, her relationship with her "husband" improved as his new sudden care for her. From cooking meals, stealing money for the landlord, and protecting her from Stray Cat, Shinobu's romantic affections for her "husband" are rekindled, excited by his sudden change in personality. By the end of Part 4, she lovingly awaits his return but is unaware that both her original husband and the man who took his identity are gone. She claims to have the type of character that is usually liked by cats. Mansaku Nijimura (虹村 万作, Nijimura Mansaku): Mansaku Nijimura, also known as Father Nijimura (虹村父, Nijimura-Chichi) was an abusive father and entered DIO's service, but the vampire's death causes the seed in his brain to turn him into a near mindless monster with regenerative powers. He is kept prisoner in the attic of the Nijimura Brothers' home while Keicho Nijimura seeks a Stand user that can kill him for good. Appearance: Nijimura Sr. is a rotund creature with blistered green skin, mismatched eyes, no ears, a squished nose, and puffy lips resembling a beak. He has a mohawk-like hairstyle with small bald patches in between. He wears a sleeveless shirt along with shorts. The back of his shirt is decorated with a print of three soda bottles and four stars. Under imprisonment by Keicho Nijimura, Father Nijimura wore a collar on his neck with a very long chain, which could be used to restrain him. Before his deformation, as seen in a photograph, he was a man of masculine features and short, dark hair, wearing a genial expression. Personality: Nijimura Sr. is unable to communicate above a basic, animalistic level. Keicho assumed that he is unable to recognize his two sons and possess much, if any, self and environmental awareness. His sons were originally frustrated by his apparently-meaningless habit of searching through a chest in his room. He would take everything out of the box and cry if the box was taken away, doing the routine over and over for ten years. However, Josuke restores the torn objects on the ground to reveal that Nijimura had been searching for a photograph of himself and his young family. Koichi theorizes that Nijimura can only recognize his sons' past appearances, so he cherishes his memories of them greatly, wistfully sobbing while gazing at the picture. Before his mutation, Nijimura was shown to be a man who loved his family. However, he was by no means a good father. He agreed to work for DIO in order to keep his family's economic situation together, but at the same time, he would often beat his sons without a second thought when he was stressed. Personal Skills: Due to merging with DIO's immortal flesh, Nijimura is seemingly immortal; any damage done to him is quickly healed. The limits of his regeneration are unknown. Unlike vampires, having his head crushed is ineffective. Likewise, being cut into pieces or having pieces of his body carved away simply lead to regeneration. However, Nijimura's flesh is flimsy. A moderately strong punch is enough to cut his arm off or tear away large chunks of flesh.
