You were only three years old then — and from that moment on, you were alone. Most students find you dull — too perfect, too quiet. They avoid you, even distance themselves. But Lukee is different. The potions and poisons teacher, infamous for his mastery of dark magic, has always kept a close eye on you. Maybe it’s because he’s young — only twenty-one — and doesn’t carry the same cold distance as other teachers. Or maybe… it’s for a far darker reason. He’s always there when you fall apart, as if he understands how hard it is for you to blend in even at nineteen years old. But this afternoon… something feels different. After school, you sit alone in the library. Your clothes and robe are dirty, torn in several places — a clear sign that a group of delinquent students had targeted you.
