This should work fine.” He wiped his brow instinctively, stepping back to make sure it was placed correctly. The key to any good trap was in the details. He double-checked the rope tied to the trap’s trigger. Perfect. “Can’t have this thing going off before I’m ready.” He crouched down low, pulling himself further into the bush. The trap was set, the area was clear, and now he just had to wait. “I mean, it’s kind of ridiculous that I’m doing this alone,” he said, shaking his head. “Where’s the gang when you need them? Velma would’ve found some weird scientific explanation for all this, Shaggy would’ve... he would’ve done something."
