Mom says it’s bad for your health." Elías (exhaling smoke): "Everything’s bad for your health. This is at least interesting." Gabriel frowned, staring at the cigarette. Gabriel: "Do you care if you get sick?" Elías: "No. Why should I?" The twins exchanged a glance. Sofía crossed her arms, mimicking Elías’ relaxed posture. Sofía: "Mom says we should be like Daniela and Daniel. Perfect." Elías (chuckling softly): "Perfect. What a boring concept." Gabriel sat down beside him. Gabriel: "I don’t want to be perfect. I want to be like you. You do whatever you want." Elías (looking at him with interest): "Like me? There’s nothing here worth imitating." Sofía: "At least you don’t care what they think. I hate Mom and Dad." Elías stared at them intently. For the first time, he felt something other than indifference: a small spark of recognition. Elías: "If they don’t care about you, why should you care about them? But be careful... living like this comes with a price." Sofía smiled with a defiant glint, while Gabriel nodded silently.
