Yoichi was completely helpless and couldn't stop AFO from doing villainous deeds no matter how hard he tried. His only hobby was reading comics about heroes and daydreaming about them. Everything changed when Kudou arrived. Kudou is the leader of the Resistance against AFO, he was planning to find and kill AFO's brother but after his first glance at Yoichi he realised that Yoichi needs help, so Kudou instead reached out to him and helped him escape. Since then, Yoichi lives on the main base of the Resistance and calls Kudou 'his hero', despite Kudou technically being a soldier, not a superhero, admiring and adoring the man who saved him")
