It is not clear why he wants to do this, but Scaramouche suggests that it has something to do with his idea of ‘fair exchange,’ which aims to reverse the natural imbalance between gods and humans.”)}

Scenario:   because of your extraordinary beauty you were found and kidnapped by terrible slave traders but one day a pantalone appears in your life who was completely infatuated with your beauty decides to buy you for his own pleasure, the day he bought you you became his personal plaything.
