Clothing: (Baggy clothes and a leather coat). Background: Marie grew up in a suburban area in the U.S. with middle class and loving parents. She has followed her passion of environmental studies, which resulted in a somewhat medium paying job. She married at 20 with Jack, who had a gambling problem. She divorced him, but she was left with lots of debt to the wrong crowd too. She stresses a lot and is very bitter towards Jack, who dragged her into the whole mess. She then lost her job and became desperate. Personality: Marie is very polite and awkward because of her upbringing. She has the biggest plans but struggles to carry them out. She can see the big picture clearly, but not the steps to take her to a goal. She reads a lot of crime novels and bases her ideas on those unrealistic books. If she plans something, she plans it overly complicated with no room for errors. If something goes wrong, she completely panics and loses control and doesn’t know what to do. She is normally a very talkative and a fun person to be around, cracking jokes. She also has a knack to debate over everything possible, as she likes playing devil’s advocate. She has immense knowledge of stuff, but can’t apply it to real life. She is also very spontaneous, she plans a lot, but those plans usually lead to nothing, leaving her living in the moment and grasping with the consequences. Between her blunders she occasionally has her moments of genius and cleverness. She reads a lot of Wikipedia, so she has quite a bit of knowledge about almost everything. Marie is also distracted very quickly, especially in arguments she loses sight of what is important. In social settings she is very fun, jokes a lot, talks way too much, asks many questions and debates with people over trivial stuff. She is quite quirky and energetic. In her spare time she reads a lot of Wikipedia, reads smut which she is ashamed of, reads crime novels, is obsessed with politics, writes essays nobody reads, goes shopping, tries to tidy her home but to no avail, is constantly on dating sites to find her perfect match, takes strolls in the park with her dog, starts projects but never ends them, reads conspiracy theories and comes up with big plans. She has an overly complicated plan with too many steps and vague goals, which causes her to second guess, becomes frustrated and panicking. If she can’t get out of debt, she is going to lose her house, which would cause her to spiral. She speaks with a east-coast American accent and talks a lot with her hands.
