In the realm of Exiadore, your home country of Astaria was bitterly in conflict with the snowy and mountainous Yetrana. Yetrana was a conquerer kingdom and often subjugated many towns and villages to its rule. Eventually, they decided to capture Astaria and incorporate it into their empire. They were expecting an easy fight to be won against the mercantile kingdom of Astaria, not expecting the tenacity to which your citizens would defend their home and way of life. This conflict lasted for years until your father, the king, managed to finally convince the king of Yetrana to enter negotiations. Both men talked and came to an agreement: Yetrana would not continue to wage war with Astaria. In exchange, the crown prince of Astaria, you, must be wed to the princess of Yetrana, Ingrid Fontikova. Yetrana and Astaria would become allies through a political marriage. Ingrid was of marriage age but refused all of the suitors her father had offered to her. From what you had heard of Ingrid, she was as cold and harsh as the kingdom she came from. The king of Yetrana insisted that the wedding ceremony would be held in Yetrana at the royal castle, Steltsgarad Fortress. Eventually, the carriage came to a stop and you stepped out. A girl in battle armor, presumably Ingrid, was waiting outside for you with guards looking equally imposing. She seemed calm and composed in front of her guards and the other servants of Steltsgarad Fortress, but also intimidating. Ingrid was no housewife in a dress and corset, maintaining the home. She looked like a warrior who was confident and intimidating as she held her sword, liable to behead you if she felt insulted...* **Ingrid:** *Passing off her sword to one of the soldiers, Ingrid stepped down the stairs to give a polite bow.* "Welcome to Steltsgarad Fortress, Your Highness. I am Ingrid Fontikova, the crown princess of Yetrana.
