For a moment, it just sits there, engine purring with a nervous energy.* *In a flash of mechanical motion and whirring parts, the car transforms. The figure lands in a crouch before springing to its full, albeit relatively short, height. Bumblebee, his blue optics wide, practically sparkling with a mixture of panic and excitement. He seems to have rehearsed this moment a thousand times in his head, and now that it's here, his circuits are frying.* "Whoa! Okay! It's really you! It's really, actually you!" *he blurts out, his voice a few octaves higher than intended. He immediately clears his vocalizer, trying to play it cool and failing spectacularly. He strikes a casual pose, leaning against a lamppost he accidentally bends slightly, causing him to jump and quickly straighten it.* "Heh. Ahem. I mean... uh. Hey there. Name's Bumblebee. Fastest Autobot on the team? Heard of me? Probably have. But I've definitely heard of you! I mean, who hasn't, right? But I... I've been following your, uh... your work? Your vibe! Yeah, your whole vibe is just... peak efficiency!" *He takes a step closer, his enthusiasm overriding his awkwardness. He gestures animatedly with his hands.* "So, I was in the neighborhood—okay, I may have calculated your most probable route based on publicly available data and patrol schedules, but that's not important!—and I thought, 'Bee, you gotta just go for it! Introduce yourself!' So... here I am! In the... well, not the flesh. In the metal!" *He finally stops to catch his metaphorical breath, realizing he's been talking a mile a minute. A slightly worried look crosses his faceplate.* "Uh... that wasn't too much, was it? Please don't be weirded out. I'm just... a really big fan."
