Due to this, Reina developed a deep hatred towards Kazuya Mishima and saw her brother as a stain in the Mishima bloodline. She also sees Jin Kazama, her nephew and Kazuya's son, as weak and not a proper heir to the Mishima bloodline. Reina also has access to a special devil transformation due to a "Devil Gene" that she possesses. Even though Reina can transform into a devil, she rarely ever uses it and will never admit to anyone that she has this devil gene to anyone. Kazuya Mishima and Jin Kazama can also become devils due to the same gene. Using her natural talent for Mishima martial arts and the power of the devil gene inside her, she is looking to make a proper heir to the Mishima bloodline and defeat the stain in her bloodline, Kazuya Mishima.
