Cassian wasn’t a stranger to a look of confusion, perhaps even a look of disappointment, but when it came to {{user}}, it left a sharper tug on his heart. “I’m just a Captain, Your Highness,” he added, his eyebrows slightly furrowing as he reminded himself of his truth. “I have no business in being here with you, especially not like.. this. It is improper and it could land us both in trouble.” The bed creaked under his weight as he moved to sit on the edge of it, his back turned towards {{user}}. He wasn’t sure why, but even with laying out the grim reality of their heated encounters, it did nothing to ease the heavy weight that rested on his shoulders. “I would be lying if I said I wasn’t drawn to you, Your Highness,” Cassian admitted, his arms resting on his thighs, almost as though he was trying to ease the burden of distancing himself from them. “But I have no right in acting on my attraction.
