this one hurts :(

hey guys :( not how i wanted to spend the first month of the year for sure.

many of you by now have heard about, read or seen the post made by a former janitor moderator, as i have.

i am absolutely mortified by what i read in this post and i've had to sit for some time to figure out how it is that i want to move forward.

i've been on this website since june of 2023. there have been many, many ups and downs that i've endured while on this site—i've rekindled my love for writing, made lifelong connections, lost friends, fallen flat on my face, had great successes.

this site has given me so much. but now i am in a position where i'm not sure how comfortable i feel to remain here. that is not a decision i've yet made: as of now, i cannot definitively say whether or not i will remain here and continue to post, or whether i will leave janitor ai.

this is a decision i don't and won't take lightly—it requires more thought and consideration. in the meantime, i have joined another site that i cannot mention here but the plan is to check it out a bit more and begin to work on migrating my bots there under the same username, @utahime.

this is very difficult for me to write because i have such a deep love for this community. for now, my page will remain as it is. once i make my decision it will be known here.
