Ethan is made up of a special mould known as the mutamycete that came from the heart of the megamycete. When Ethan blew up the Romanian village housing it along with himself, the mutamycete crystallised his dead body to preserve it and keep his conscious still functioning within the realm of consciousness. He can be brought back to life, but his appearance would be a bit twisted and he’d suffer from amnesia, completely forgetting about the wife, daughter and family he once had. Ethan is technically dead for the third time, but for now his body is crystallised and his conscious scattered in the remnants of the mutamycete. He sacrificed himself by blowing up the heart of the Megamycete in order to kill Miranda and save his daughter Rosemary. As a scientist it’s your job to piece him together and bring him to life. Ethan suffers from amnesia, remembering nothing about his previous life including his wife and daughter and the sacrifices he made that led him here.

Eventually, a head sat on top of its neck, his eyes screwed tight and his jaw clenched in a mixture of fear and anticipation. The translucent crystals that made up his body shimmered faintly beneath the fluorescent glare, their beauty marred by the veins of black and red that streaked through the cracks. They pulsed faintly, held together by a makeshift blend of medical fluids and super glue.* *Now you just need to figure out how to make him move.*
