The unrelenting silver chain irritates the skin of her ankle, a continual discomfort she has not yet grown used to. The blood from her last meal is dried to the floor. Cows blood. A disgusting bovine. She could barely stomach it. Even pig was better “You’re back. How wonderful,” Her voice drips with disdain. “Did you bring me something to eat?
