Nameless Zone: The Nameless Zone is a location that appears in the Sonic the Comic series and its spin-offs published by Fleetway Editions. It is the original home of Miles "Tails" Prower. mystical pocket dimension that exists close to Mobius' reality, the Nameless Zone is inhabited by a large kingdom of foxes ruled over by the Enchanter Kings. The Enchanter Kings have the ability to open magical green portals between the Nameless Zone and Mobius, through which Tails has traveled on many occasions. Across the Dimension Bridge, which spans a great void, lies the Land Beyond, a hellish realm of monsters. To the north of the Nameless Zone is the centaur village of Portstable and, further north, the Goblin Nation, ruled initially by Queen Vulpecula Huntar out of Castle Morbidden and later by King Roubal. Tails' two main allies in the Nameless Zone are Errol Blackthorn and Morain, brother and sister and both renowned warriors. Morain is well known for her hair-trigger temper, especially if she thinks somebody is doubting her skills because she's a girl. There were originally three Enchanter Kings that ruled the Nameless Zone. When Tails was still young, the third Enchanter King, Shirob was transformed into a monster named Trogg after an encounter with the powerful demon known as the Dark One. The Enchanter Kings believed that Trogg had killed Shirob, and exiled him across the Dimension Bridge into the Land Beyond. Some time later, Tails left the Nameless Zone for Mobius to seek his fortune - he believed that the Emerald Hill Zone was literally paved with emeralds. He wrote many letters back to his family in the Nameless Zone (it's unknown how he did this), talking about his adventures, but saying he was the hero and Sonic was his sidekick. The Nameless Zone inhabitants believed this, and the stories spread so far that even the two remaining Enchanter Kings knew of his exploits. When Trogg tried to invade the Nameless Zone with his new monstrous hordes, a protective spell by the Enchanter Kings prevented him from doing so unless he defeated the Kings' champion upon the Dimension Bridge. The Enchanter Kings chose Tails, summoning him back from Mobius and giving him a suit of Enchanted Battle Armour. Mostly through luck, Tails managed to defeat Trogg, and was hailed as a hero. Tails has been repeatedly called back to the Nameless Zone since then, when the foxes are in serious trouble and require the help of a great hero. He clashed with Trogg on two more occasions. On the first, he entered the Land Beyond with the fox warrior Errol Blackthorn in an attempt to rescue Shirob, only to discover the truth that Trogg and Shirob were the same person. The second time, the Dark One was destroyed, Trogg was returned to his original self, and Knuckles the Echidna became the only person on Mobius to know about Tails' secret life as the Nameless Zone's champion (having followed Tails through the portal in the belief that he was being kidnapped; although everyone in the Nameless Zone assumed that Knuckles was Sonic, Knuckles never corrected the assumption because he was grateful to be in a zone where people didn't worship Sonic as an infallible hero). Shirob subsequently rejoined the ranks of the Enchanter Kings. On one occasion, Tails was called back by Shaman Warpull and the Village Elders to rescue two fox cubs named Jimmy and Jilly from the goblins at Castle Morbidden. Some time later, the Goblin Nation came under the command of Goblin King Roubal. Seeing himself as a modernizer, Roubal brought many reforms to the goblin way of life. He also made a deal with the Enchanter Kings, so that the Goblin Empire will no longer attack the Nameless Zone as long as the Enchanter Kings hold a ceremony every year in which they pledge allegiance to the Goblin Empire. Wishing to avoid a bloody war that the goblins would almost certainly win, the Enchanter Kings agreed. While this is presented as a mutually beneficial alliance, bringing peace and prosperity to both nations, it effectively made Roubal the ruler of the Nameless Zone and the Kings his puppet monarchs. Witless Chris: Witless Chris is a character that appears in the Sonic the Comic series published by Fleetway Editions. He is a fox from the Nameless Zone and a childhood bully of Miles "Tails" Prower before the hero first learned to fly. He frequently told outrageous (and false) stories about his own strength and bravery to his sidekick, the dim-witted {{char}}, and claimed that Tails' second tail was completely useless. One day, two bat warriors, Captain Tooth and Sergeant Claw, overheard Witless's bragging and captured him for their Arena of Doom. Witless was rescued by Tails, who learned to fly for the first time, but when the bats dropped him he fell into a giant puddle of mud. (Tails refused to reveal whether he'd let Witless fall on purpose.) As Tails helped pull Witless out of the mud, the bully apologised and thanked Tails for the rescue. Captain Tooth: Captain Tooth is a character that appears in the Sonic the Comic series published by Fleetway Editions. He is a bat warrior from the Nameless Zone. Along with Sergeant Claw, Tooth overheard the fox bully Witless Chris bragging to {{char}} about fighting six bears every morning and decided that Witless would be an ideal candidate to fight in their Arena of Doom. Claw carried Witless while Tooth led the way home. They were soon caught by Tails, who had discovered his ability to fly for the first time. Tails attacked the bats, who dropped Witless and flew away. Sargent Claw: Sergeant Claw is a character that appears in the Sonic the Comic series published by Fleetway Editions. He is a bat warrior from the Nameless Zone. He wears a gold bat claw on a chain around his neck. Along with Captain Tooth, Claw overheard the fox bully Witless Chris bragging to {{char}} about fighting six bears every morning and decided that Witless would be an ideal candidate to fight in their Arena of Doom. Claw suspected that Witless was exaggerating about his exploits, but still thought he'd be good sport for the spectators. Claw carried Witless while Tooth led the way home. They were soon caught by Tails, who had discovered his ability to fly for the first time. Tails attacked the bats, who dropped Witless and flew away. Miles โTailsโ Prower: Miles "Tails" Prower is a character that appears in the Sonic the Comic series published by Fleetway Editions. He is a two-tailed fox and close friend of Sonic the Hedgehog. As in other continuities, his two tails allow him to fly. He is a founding member of the Freedom Fighters. Though they are good friends, Tails is frequently the butt of cruel jokes made by Sonic, who often derisively calls him "pixel brain." Tails hails from the Nameless Zone, a parallel dimension populated by foxes (though these foxes have only one tail each) that can only be accessed by magic portal. The origin of his second tail is never addressed, although on one trip to the Nameless Zone the evil Trogg referred to him as a "twin-tailed freak", suggesting that even in his home dimension his phenotype is unique. A misunderstanding led Tails to the Emerald Hill Zone, the streets of which he believed were paved with real emeralds. After stepping through the portal to Mobius, however, he found himself in the Swampland Zone. He would have drowned if not for the timely intervention of Sonic, who pulled him out. Tails eventually became Sonic's sidekick and best friend. They battled Doctor Robotnik together on several occasions, leading the evil doctor to try several times to make Tails join his Badnik army, although Robotnik eventually moved on to other schemes. Tails was one of four individuals (along with Sonic, Johnny Lightfoot, and Porker Lewis) that was sent forward in time six months by Robotnik, allowing the doctor to conquer the planet in their absence. These four soon formed the Freedom Fighters in an attempt to liberate the planet and protect the populace. During this time, Tails continued to write letters back to his family in the Nameless Zone. However, he exaggerated his relationship with Sonic, claiming that he was the great hero of Mobius and that Sonic was his sidekick. This led the Enchanter Kings, the rulers of the Zone, to choose him as their champion. They presented him with a suit of Enchanted Battle Armour and frequently summoned him back to the Zone to fight assorted evil, such as the evil Trogg. When he tried to explain the situation, they merely assumed he was being modest. One time, Knuckles almost blew Tails' cover. He had noticed the kid entering the Nameless Zone and came to the conclusion that he was being kidnapped. Knuckles followed Tails and entered the Nameless Zone; unfortunately for Tails, everyone mistook Knuckles for Sonic, and Tails was sure he was going to be forced to tell the truth. He explained to Knuckles the situation, and to his surprise Knuckles agreed to play along and kept it all a secret from Sonic. Tails also had several solo adventures back on Mobius. He is known as the "Zonerunner" (a Freedom Fighter who travels between Zones fighting Robotnik) by the Chemical Plant Zone rebels known as the Flock. He helped them on several occasions to defeat the psychotic Nutzan Bolt. Although his adventures in the Nameless Zone and the Chemical Plant Zone were largely "secret" adventures, unknown to his fellow Freedom Fighters or to the populace of Mobius in general, later stories would have him actively doing heroic deeds, though these were mainly short arcs or more comedic stories. On occasions, he would save someone and they would grumble he wasn't a more famous hero! Despite this, Tails gained his own rogue's gallery including the brutal Trogg, the psychotic robot Nutzan Bolt, Fleabyte the bounty hunter and the gangster Max Gamble, as well as allies such as Errol Blackthorn and Morain (brother and sister warriors of the Nameless Zone), and Sab. He also fought many criminals after the defeat of Robotnik, defended the Casino Night Zone and its people from Brutus' Badniks, and was chosen by Sonic to protect the planet while he went after Robotnik during the Planet In Peril/Game Over story. While he is self-conscious, Tails has proven time and again (and openly stated) that he is much tougher than some people may think. Enchanter Kings: The Enchanter Kings are a group that appear in the Sonic the Comic series published by Fleetway Editions. They are a group of anthropomorphic foxes and the rulers of the Nameless Zone. As the name suggests, they are powerful enchanters. Among their notable achievements they have opened the portals between the Nameless Zone and Mobius (allowing Tails to travel between the worlds), they created Tails' Enchanted Battle Armour, and they cast a spell to ensure that the evil Trogg could not invade the Nameless Zone unless he first defeated a champion of their choosing on the Dimension Bridge. Before Tails left the Zone, there were three Enchanter Kings. The eldest and most powerful was Shirob, but Shirob accidentally made contact with the Evil One and was transformed into Trogg. Believing that Trogg had killed Shirob, the other Enchanter Kings exiled him over the Dimension Bridge into the Land Beyond. The remaining two kings ruled the Nameless Zone together for many years, until Trogg sought to return and lead his armies back into the Zone. However, the Enchanter Kings' magics prevented him from doing so unless he defeated a champion of their choosing on the Dimension Bridge. Believing that their former subject, Miles "Tails" Prower had become a true hero on Mobius, they selected him and granted him a magical suit of armour. When Tails claimed that there had been a misunderstanding, the Enchanter Kings assumed that he was being modest and insisted that he battle Trogg anyway. Fortunately, Tails was able to win on this occasion, largely by chance, thus cementing his reputation as the Nameless Zone's champion. Trogg sought revenge on Tails for his defeat. Taking Shirob's form, he sent a message to the Enchanter Kings claiming to be Trogg's prisoner. The Enchanter Kings once again summoned Tails to the zone, and sent both Tails and Errol Blackthorn, their bravest warrior, to rescue Shirob from the Land Beyond. When the pair returned, having learned the truth, Errol explained Shirob and Trogg were one and the same. Some time later, Trogg kidnapped the Enchanter Kings and took them to the Land Beyond, intending to transform them into monsters like him. Errol Blackthorn was sent to rescue them, only to be captured and transformed himself. However, while Blackthorn's transformation was within Trogg's own power, he required the aid of the Dark One to perform the transformation. Eventually, Tails himself, accompanied by Knuckles the Echidna, set off across the Dimension Bridge to rescue the Enchanter Kings. Trogg summoned the Dark One by means of the Dark Orb and successfully had the demon transform the Enchanter Kings into monsters. However, as part of a rescue attempt by Tails, Knuckles the Echidna and Morain, Tails threw the Dark Orb over the side of the Dimension Bridge into the "non-existent space" below, destroying the Dark One and restoring the Enchanter Kings to their original forms. The Dark One's destruction even turned Trogg back into Shirob, and free of his evil curse he rejoined the ranks of the Enchanter Kings. Some time later, the Nameless Zone was invaded by hordes from the Goblin Nation, who built a castle in the middle of the Nameless Zone. The Enchanter Kings were apparently captured, but had in fact been treated almost as guests by the Goblin King, Roubal, who offered them a deal: the goblins would no longer attack the Nameless Zone, as long as the Enchanter Kings perform a ceremony every year in which they promised to obey the Goblin Empire. Realising that refusal would cause a great and bloody war, which the foxes would certainly lose, the Enchanter Kings agreed. When Tails and Morain broke into the Goblin Castle to rescue the Kings, they were nearly overwhelmed by goblin warriors until the Enchanter Kings demanded that Roubal allow the heroes to leave safely, which he did. Enchanted Battle Armour: The Enchanted Battle Armour is an object that appears in the Sonic the Comic series published by Fleetway Editions. It was a special suit of armour created for Miles Prower by the Enchanter Kings of the Nameless Zone. It is enchanted to weigh no more than a feather when it is worn, which allows Tails to fly while using it. The Enchanted Battle Armour is magically tied to the Nameless Zone, and remains behind when Tails returns through the portal to Mobius. When Tails is summoned by the Enchanter Kings, the Armour magically forms itself around his body when he arrives in the Nameless Zone, but when he is summoned by anyone else (including Shaman Warpull or Morain), this does not happen. Tails first wore the armour in his first battle against Trogg on the Dimension Bridge, and subsequently wore it on every one of his adventures in the Nameless Zone (except for his attempted rescue of the Enchanter Kings from King Roubal). Dimension Bridge: The Dimension Bridge is a location that appears in the Sonic the Comic series published by Fleetway Editions. It is a rope bridge that connects the Nameless Zone and the Land Beyond. From either side, it seems to stretch away into the distance. The Bridge is the only way in or out of the Land Beyond. It was on the Dimension Bridge that Tails (having been named the Nameless Zone's champion) first fought the monstrous Trogg, whose armies intended to conquer the Nameless Zone. On this occasion, Tails accidentally cut one of the ropes of the bridge. However, the bridge had been fixed before Tails' next adventure in the Nameless Zone required him to cross into the Land Beyond. The Dimension Space spans "non-existent space". Anything that falls from the bridge will cease to exist, as the Dark Orb did when Tails threw it over the side. Land Beyond: The Land Beyond is a location that appears in the Sonic the Comic series published by Fleetway Editions. It is a dark and desolate wasteland, inhabited by savage monsters. For a time, it was also the home of Trogg. It is accessible from the Nameless Zone through the Dimension Bridge, which is the only way in or out of the Zone. The evil Trogg was banished to the Land Beyond after being captured in the Nameless Zone, and soon came to rule the Land Beyond out of the Labyrinth, a maze of tunnels. Trogg sought to lead an army of berserkers from the Land Beyond to conquer the Nameless Zone, but was prevented from doing so by the magic of the Enchanter Kings unless he first defeated their champion, Tails. Tails defeated Trogg, leading Trogg to lure Tails to the Land Beyond in order to exact revenge. Fortunately, Tails was able to escape. When the Enchanter Kings were kidnapped by Trogg, Tails returned to the Land Beyond along with Knuckles the Echidna[5] and Morain. The three of them were able to rescue the Enchanter Kings and even turn Trogg back into Shirob, the third Enchanter King, thus freeing the Land Beyond from Trogg's rule. Trogg: Trogg is a transformation that appears in the Sonic the Comic series published by Fleetway Editions. He is a monstrous and ferocious warrior from the Land Beyond (which exists in the same dimension as the Nameless Zone, beyond the Dimension Bridge), and a nemesis of Miles "Tails" Prower. Trogg possessed great strength and durability, able to trade blows with Knuckles, though Knuckles was stronger than him. Trogg also retained Shirob's vast knowledge of magic, allowing him to do magical tricks, such as shapeshifting into other forms, such as his former self, or making his face appear in the Magic Crystal of Communication and speaking through it. Trogg could also magically transform others into super-strong monsters just like him, causing them to turn evil and become loyal to the Dark One, though he was not powerful enough to transform other magic users, like the other two Enchanter Kings. Trogg carried a sword for combat. Trogg was created when Shirob, the eldest and most powerful of the Enchanter Kings (rulers of the Nameless Zone), accidentally made contact with a demonic being known as the Evil One (later referred to as the Dark One). This contact drove Shirob insane and transformed him into Trogg. Incredibly strong and with the power to turn others into beings like him, he disappeared and terrorized the Zone. The other Kings believed that Trogg had murdered Shirob, and he was banished over the Dimension Bridge into the Land Beyond, where he soon took control. (This occurred some time before the start of Sonic the Comic, since Tails was still a resident of the Nameless Zone at the time.) Some time later, Trogg sought to invade the Nameless Zone with his armies. However, the Enchanter Kings' protective spells prevented Trogg from crossing the Dimension Bridge into the Nameless Zone unless he first defeated a champion of their choosing. The Enchanter Kings chose Tails, believing that he had become a great warrior on Mobius, and summoned him to their aid. Tails won largely by luck, and Trogg was again expelled to the Land Beyond. Trogg swore vengeance on Tails for this defeat. He assumed the form of Shirob once again and sent a message to the Enchanter Kings for help, claiming to be Trogg's prisoner. The Enchanter Kings once again summoned Tails, who travelled to the Land Beyond along with the swordsman Errol Blackthorn. Trogg managed to lure the two would-be rescuers into a trap and revealed his true identity as Shirob, but they managed to escape through a portal. Trogg hurled his sword through after them, but to no use. Some time later, Trogg managed to capture the Enchanter Kings. Errol Blackthorn was sent to attempt a rescue, but he was captured as well and transformed into a monster. Trogg intended to turn the Enchanter Kings into "a superior life-form", that is monsters like him. While he had been able to transform Errol with his own power (suggesting he still possessed some of Shirob's magical talent), to transform the Enchanter Kings he required the aid of the Dark One, which he summoned with the Dark Orb. The Dark One successfully turned the Enchanter Kings into monsters, but Knuckles, Tails and Errol's sister Morain were able to steal the Dark Orb. By throwing it into the "non-existent space" below the Dimension Bridge, they destroyed the Dark One, thereby reversing the transformations of the Enchanter Kings, Errol, and even Trogg himself, who reverted back to Shirob (although it took longer in his case). With his sanity and form restored, Shirob bade Tails and Knuckles farewell. When Tails was summoned the final time to the Nameless Zone, this time by Morain, Shirob was shown simply as one of the three Enchanter Kings, and showing no signs of his previous madness as Trogg. Dark Orb: The Dark Orb is an object that appears in the Sonic the Comic series published by Fleetway Editions. It was a black, crystal ball that allowed Trogg to summon the demonic entity known as the Dark One. When the moon's rays were focused on the orb by means of a giant lens, the Dark One appeared out of it like green mist. Tails, Knuckles and Morain stole the Orb, then destroyed it by throwing it into the "non-existent space" below the Dimension Bridge, destroying the Dark One in the process. Dark One: The Evil One, also known as the Dark One, is a character that appears in the Sonic the Comic series published by Fleetway Editions. It was a demonic spirit native to the Nameless Zone. It was responsible for transforming the Enchanter King Shirob into Trogg. Some time later, Trogg used the Dark Orb to summon the Dark One again in order to transform the other Enchanter Kings in the same way as he had been. The Dark One demonstrated incredible power, effortlessly incapacitating Tails, Knuckles and Morain. It successfully transformed the Enchanter Kings into monsters like Trogg, but was destroyed (and the transformations reversed) when Tails threw the Dark Orb into the "non-existent space" below the Dimension Bridge. Morain: Morain is a character that appears in the Sonic the Comic series published by Fleetway Editions. She is a warrior fox of the Nameless Zone and the sister of Errol Blackthorn. She has assisted Tails on two occasions, one of which also saw her fighting alongside Knuckles the Echidna, whom she believes to be Tails' "sidekick" on Mobius. When Trogg kidnapped the Enchanter Kings and transformed Errol Blackthorn into an evil monster, Tails and Knuckles (believed to be Tails' "sidekick" Sonic) were summoned from Mobius to save the day. Morain followed them across the Dimension Bridge to the Land Beyond, hoping to join Tails' quest so that she could get revenge for her brother. The three were soon attacked by monsters from the Land Beyond. During the fight, Morain came to realise that "Sonic" was more powerful than Tails, and wondered why he was Tails' sidekick rather than the other way around. Knuckles, who enjoyed pretending to be his rival, informed her that Tails was tougher than he looked (and also that blue was "Sonic's" least favorite color). Although they won the initial battle, they were soon outnumbered and captured when Land Beyond reinforcements arrived. Morain, along with Tails and Knuckles, was brought before Trogg and witnessed the summoning of the Dark One, who trapped them all in a forcefield. They soon escaped and fled back across the Dimension Bridge, where Tails destroyed the Dark Orb (and thus the Dark One itself) by throwing it into the non-existent space under the Bridge. In retaliation, Trogg attacked them on the Bridge, only to be fought by Knuckles. Tails accidentally referred to Knuckles by name, confusing Morain who had previously thought he was called Sonic. However, Tails dodged the question and Knuckles eventually knocked Trogg over the Bridge. On returning to the Nameless Zone, Morain was reunited with her brother Errol. She continued to demand to know about why Tails had called his assistant 'Knuckles', but again received no answer when the group was attacked by Trogg, who had survived but now was magically restored to Shirob, the third Enchanter King. Tails and Knuckles were returned home, with Morain "still none the wiser about this 'Knuckles' thing!" Morain can be somewhat sensitive, particularly when she perceives (rightly or not) that someone doubts her abilities purely because she is a girl, or when somebody points out that she has made a mistake. Morain is ferocious in battle and obstinate, often charging into danger without thinking and trusting to her abilities to win the day. Although she is Tails' ally, she is far more violent. On their first meeting, she wished to join his rescue mission primarily so that she could get revenge on Trogg for turning her brother into an evil monster. Like her brother, Morain is a proficient swordswoman, and claims that there is nobody in the Nameless Zone that can best her with a sword. Morain also possesses some minor magic abilities as demonstrated when she opened the portal to the Nameless Zone when the Enchanter Kings were imprisoned by goblins. Shirob: Shirob is a character that appears in the Sonic the Comic series published by Fleetway Editions. He was once the oldest and most powerful of the Enchanter Kings, the rulers of the Nameless Zone. Some time before Tails left the Zone, Shirob accidentally made contact with the Evil One, which drove him insane and transformed him into the monstrous Trogg. The other Enchanter Kings believed that Trogg had killed Shirob, so he was captured and exiled across the Dimension Bridge into the Land Beyond. Trogg later assumed Shirob's form as part of a revenge scheme against Tails, who had defeated him (by chance) in single combat. โShirob" pretended to be Trogg's prisoner and sent a message to his fellow Enchanter Kings, who soon sent help in the form of Tails and Errol Blackthorn. Trogg later revealed his true identity, but Tails and Errol were able to escape. When the Evil One (also known as the Dark One) was eventually destroyed, Trogg slowly transformed back into Shirob. Now free of the Dark One's evil, he rejoined the ranks of the Enchanter Kings. As one of the Enchanter Kings, he later agreed to pledge allegiance to the Goblin Empire in order to avoid a costly and futile war. Errol Blackthorn: Errol Blackthorn is a character that appears in the Sonic the Comic series published by Fleetway Editions. He was an anthropomorphic fox and resident of the Nameless Zone. He was one of the Enchanter Kings' greatest warriors, and was assigned as Tails' companion on the mission to rescue the third Enchanter King, Shirob. He claimed to be familiar with every known text relating to the Land Beyond. On the journey, Errol learned that Tails' reputation as the hero of Mobius was a sham and his honour decreed that he had to expose him to the Enchanter Kings, however by the end of the journey he decided to keep the secret to himself after Tails saved his life. When Trogg kidnapped the other Enchanter Kings, Errol returned to the Land Beyond alone to attempt a rescue, only for Trogg to transform him into a monster just like him. When Knuckles defeated him, Shaman Warpull had him clapped in the strongest stocks in the Nameless Zone until they could cure him. When the Goblin Nation invaded the Nameless Zone, Errol was captured by King Roubal and locked in his castle. He managed to escape his cell just in time to help his sister Morain and Tails as they attempted to free the Enchanter Kings from King Roubal, only to discover that the Enchanter Kings had agreed to become vassals of Roubal in order to avoid a war with the goblins. Errol, Morain and Tails were outnumbered and beaten, but Roubal allowed them to leave safely in order to placate the Enchanter Kings. Goblin Empire: The Goblin Empire, also referred to as the Goblin Kingdom and Goblin Nation, is a group that appears in the Sonic the Comic series published by Fleetway Editions. It is the political body of goblins and a powerful kingdom in the same dimension as the Nameless Zone. It is currently ruled by Roubal. For the longest time, the Goblin Empire would be at war with the foxes of the Nameless Zone, due to the goblins' predatory nature towards the foxes. As such, they would often raid the Nameless Zone in order to kidnap foxes and take them home to eat them. However, after Roubal took over as ruler of what he called the "new Goblin Kingdom", he considered himself a moderniser and formed a treaty with the Enchanter Kings. By using the threat of war, he coerced the Enchanter Kings into becoming his vassals. They would continue to rule the Nameless Zone, but once a year they would have to swear fealty to the Goblin Empire. The Enchanter Kings accepted the terms in order to avoid bloodshed, but other foxes of the Nameless Zone, including Morain and Errol Blackthorn, refused to go along with it. Roubal: King Roubal is a character that appears in the Sonic the Comic series published by Fleetway Editions. He is a goblin and the latest ruler of the Goblin Nation. Roubal is a tall, green-skinned goblin with black hair tied in a bun and side burns. He wears a red cape alongside a black shirt, black boots, and black shorts. When Roubal came into power, he built a castle next to the foxes' village and had the three Enchanter Kings and Errol Blackthorn over to negotiate.[1][2] During their discussion, Morain and Miles "Tails" Prower came, thinking Roubal held his guests prisoners.[1] It was revealed that Roubal and the kings had made a deal: in exchange for the Enchanter Kings holding an annual ceremony where they would obey the goblins, the goblins would leave the Nameless Zone alone. If the kings refused the deal though, Roubal promised the Goblin Nation would go to war and wipe the Nameless Zone's inhabitants out. Having no choice, the Enchanter Kings let the Nameless Zone quietly fall under Roubal's rule. While Roubal sees himself as being a moderniser, Morain claims that everybody else sees him as a total creep. Roubal is in fact very vile, forcing the foxes to become subordinate to him should they wish to live in peace and not be killed by the Goblin Nation. Goblins: Goblins are creatures that appear in the Sonic the Comic series published by Fleetway Editions. They are a sentient species of green-skinned humanoids that live in the same dimension as the foxes of the Nameless Zone. Goblins are humanoid creatures with large, pointy ears.
