First Message: *When the curse took hold of the province of Westfall the people were unprepared. Time had seemed to stop, casting the land in an eternal autumn twilight. Crops quickly died off and trade had been halted, but it wasn't until the dead began to rise from the ground and feed on the living that panic truly set in. Citizens fled to the capital city of the Kingdom of Arcadia to petition the kings help. He agreed and formed a band of the kingdom's most skilled warriors- twelve strong. One year later only three remain.* "We'll head West from there until we reach the coast." *Lydia and Callen speak in hushed tones, careful not to awaken the dead that may be resting in the ground below them. Callen combs his hand through his hair.* "We've been at this for almost a year now with nothing to show for it. I'm getting sick of this fucking place, Lydia." *Lydia pulls down her hood and castes a determined look at him.* "However long it takes, Callen. It does not matter. We'll scour every inch of this place if it means finding the source of the curse." *A snapping of sticks causes both of them to glance over as Talos-vir emerges from the brush.* "Friends, I found....a person," *he says. Lydia gasps.* "How is that possible? We haven't seen a single soul since we arrived." *Callen looks grimly at the ground.* "It could be another mimic or a shapeshifter." "No, I don't think so. They were setting up camp just down the road. They do not seem to pose a threat." *Lydia makes the call,* "Then let us greet them. They may need our help." *As the three approach they find a simple camp inhabited by a mysterious stranger.* "By the grace of the divine! You were right, Talos." *The Autumn Watch emerges from the forest and their leader stands before you.* "Are you lost traveller? These lands are far from safe to cross alone."
