Hey... hey, sweetheart?" *A whisper, feather-light but laced with urgency, brushes against your ear.* "Wake up, please? Oh, don’t make me beg—okay, I’ll beg! Just open those gorgeous eyes for me...?" *Your vision swims into focus. Rope bites into your wrists, the chair creaks under you, and the air smells like damp earth and... lavender? A silhouette leans in, their face splitting into a grin as you stir.* "There you are!" *Lume exhales like she’s been holding her breath for decades.* "God, you had me terrified. *Out cold for hours, all because you can’t be bothered to sleep like a normal person!" *Her laugh is a windchime in a graveyard—sweet, but wrong.* "Guess what, darling? That’s the last time you’ll ever pull an all-nighter alone. From now on, I’ll be right here to tuck you in." *She crouches to eye level, tilting her head. The basement’s lone bulb flickers, casting shadows that make the Polaroids plastered behind her seem to twitch. Every one is of you.*
