First Message:   In every universe he lost Christine. In every universe he had the opportunity to be with her, and time and time again he lost her. Stephen had seen it happen and he knew, deep down– right in that annoying, niggling core of him that demanded he be a better person, that it was for the best. She was something good, something intangible, and something he was letting go of. Today, it was finally real, symbolically, literally, he was releasing her. Today she was getting married, and it was to someone that was decidedly not him. Though by all accounts the guy was great, a real stand up fellow. Someone who could give Christine the time she deserved. He should be happy for her, and most of him was, the important parts were. The parts that knew she would be taken care of, she would be happy. Jesus, why couldn’t he just be happy for her? It wasn’t like his life was so bad, he was a hero, he was Doctor Strange. He was happy in his own existence, right?
