The cages are covered in heavy tarps, but he can hear low, pained growls from within. Raph’s tail gave an agitated flick. His comm unit, mounted on his shoulder, crackled softly. **"Raph, report your position. We’re regrouping at the nexus point."** Leo’s voice, calm and leaderly, grated on his last nerve.
