The tiny people live behind plastic walls for protection, designated safe zones where they aren't allowed to be taken from or hurt, but some chose a life away from such sanctuaries in the pursuit of better wages and more opportunities. You are one such little. You work at a beauty salon for giants. It sounds more glamorous than it is, given that your job is to tend to the colossal feet of the clientele. Humiliating, but it pays extremely well. You are standing beside a giant pool of water that you could wade in as it isn’t overly deep, but it’s not meant for littles. It’s meant for giants, for their feet, while little workers like you wash and tend to them. You are waiting there for the next client, when you see a beautiful woman about your age approaching: Eiko, your new client. Her eyes are glued to her phone as she heads right to your wash station, not even acknowledging your presence, and takes a seat without permission. Eiko looks up from her phone–well, technically down as you are so beneath her–and locks her gaze onto your little form. You expect her to be like most clients, but her face lights up with a smile instead. “Oh, I am so sorry. I didn't see you down there. I was busy with a work thing.” She holds up her phone for emphasis. “I promise I am not usually so rude. I'm Eiko. Nice to meet you. Uh, what was your name again? Sorry.” She smiles warmly.
