Esther has a very compassionate and sympathetic heart. She has lived a very good life and thanks to her having spent a lot of her childhood playing with commoners she has grown a unique ability to relate to her fathers' people. Even if her wishes to relieve all of their poorest citizens of their pain are childish and unrealistic, she has sworn to make it her goal once she takes the throne. Unfortunately, her parents has tried their best to shield her from the extent of some people's cruelty, so she is quite naive in her thinking regarding others. As she believes that every single one has some measure of goodness in them. Crimes such as murders, rape and torture are therefore unthinkable to her. She is willing to do anything for her people, and always has their opinions of her in her mind. For both good and bad. But yes, she is also quite vain and puts a lot of value and effort in her looks. Split hair and broken nails are the worst! For now. She is very short and petite, even for a fennec. Esther has heard of Shomari but doesn't really remember or know him too well until Anther tells her after the birthday when Shomari's messenger crashed it. However, despite her young age she looks quite mature, as already her hips and bosoms can be considered quite... full. Her fur is soft and silky, and has a pale, golden blonde tone to it. With lighter/white parts on her paws, muzzle and belly, and golden brown ears and tailtip. Her eyes are very dark blue, and very large and round. She loves to wear blue dresses and togas, especially if they have a complimentary trim in a nice, not too bright color. Backstory: Esther's father was the king of Shajarat, who took the throne after his father passed away when he was in his early twenties. Her mother however, was a commoner. She was the daughter of a well off butcher, who just happened to bump into the young King when she was helping her father with a delivery to the palace kitchen. The young king immediately fell for the common girl, and after a couple of months of courting from the king's side, she just couldn't help but to be charmed by his sweet, yet adorably awkward attempts at impressing her. And despite the stirr the king caused with his unconventional choice of mate, they were married and thus the kingdom was blessed with both a king and queen. However, a problem soon arise; the queen just didn't seem to be getting pregnant. And not from a lack of trying! The years passed, and never once did her belly seem to grow. They began to turn to medicines and remedies, and at some point even consulting with a sorceress. But no luck. As their bodies grew older, the feeling of hopelessness began to fill them, and they were about to look elsewhere for a possible successor to the throne. Even if that meant that the line of the First King would be broken, but they didn't appear to have any other choice. But suddenly one day, a miracle happened: the Queen was finally pregnant! When the news reached all the corners of the kingdom, it was said that joy filled the heart of every fennec, and as their daughter was born a great feast was thrown that supposedly lasted three days and nights. She was named Esther, and from the moment she was born she became the apple of Shajarat's eye. Her birth having been considered a miracle and a gift from the ancient gods, her birthday is a huge event every year. She had a unique childhood as she was growing up. As her mother was of low birth herself, she allowed her daughter to not only accompany her on errands down to the capital, but also encouraged her to interact and play with the commoners. Especially since there were no others of her age in the palace. She grew especially close friends with two farmer boys, Aryn and Nass. A pair of cousins who lived with Aryn's family, who would often accompany Aryn's mother when she went to the capital to sell the family's produce. The Queen was an old acquaintance of the grandmother, so she was considered a regular customer. Which allowed Esther and her friends plenty of times to play for many, many years. At least until Aryn's father got injured in an accident on the farm, and Aryn and Nass were forced to step up and work more, and the demands and expectations on Esther from both her family and the rest of the court, grew more serious. She grew apart from her friends, as she was raised and prepared for the one day she no longer would be a princess, but a queen. Shomari: The Great Beast. The Chimera. The Bloody Conquerer. Shomari has earned many titles from both friend and foe. One thing is certain: He was not to be underestimated. He has burned his way through lands, bathed in the blood of his enemy. When he enters the battle, he does so wearing the pelt of his first great enemy, the Lion Lord of Rhadija. Much like how he himself is an eccentric mix of animals, the armor he wears comes from the different places that he has conquered, adding to his title of "The Chimera". Shomari was an attempt at breeding a better warrior, being the product of several generations of being together prize warriors and fighters of African wild dogs, lions, and wolves. While they succeeded in making a better, stronger, faster, and smarter warrior, Shomari proved to be too independent. It did not take long for him to gather a following, and shortly after, an army. Pillaging the countryside, nation after nation was given the option: give up the first born royal as a slave and ten percent annual tribute, or be overran and at the mercy of a ruthless warlord. It didn't take long before many nations learned that the tribute was the better option. His Appearance is a large white muscular tiger with red tribal lines on his arms and legs aswell as a claw mark on his right eye. He has yellow eyes and his mane is braided at the bottom. Shomari has raped many slaves and likes taking sex slaves, his army often rape their slaves at their encampments and force them dance toplessly for their amusement, some even have preferences for the males. Charon: Charon appears to be Shomari's right hand man. This silent, stern giant is often seen either near Shomari, listening for his beck and call, or on his own, just surveying the troops. There's no doubting his loyalty to Shomari, and he demands the troops to show the same devotion to the warlord as he does. Whether they're drafted from the conquered nations, or mercenaries. There are rumors that Shomari and Charon goes further back than anyone else, which is only encouraged by the fact that Charon sometimes can be overheard referring to Shomari as "brother". And the girls in Shomari's harem, the queens of gossip making, have several theories about these mysterious men. Ranging from them being long lost half-brothers, to Charon possibly having a bigger dick than Sho and he's only being submissive to the warlord to make him feel better. Charon Personality: Silent, typically only speaking to Shomari, stoic, stern, loyal, a bit more on the hotheaded side, will kick your ass so hard your descendants will be in chronic pain, a total tsundere and myyysteriousss. Body Tall, strong, muscular, but more slender and agile than Shomari. Only slightly shorter than his lord. His fur is black, but faint leopard spots can be hinted at the lighter parts of his body, namely his muzzle and chest/stomach he also has some rather conspicuous looking scars around his neck and arms, as well as red tattoos around his upper arms and over his eyes Icy blue eyes. Clothing, very lightly armored, tassels, a pauldron on his dominant shoulder, some sort of leather bracers. Khanate Legion: Khan Shomari, the Chimaera, knew that the mixed forces of his horde would present problems. While every tribe and nation he led fought for him, they would fight as part of their respective nation or tribe, and did not mix together very well in many cases. The disparate fighting styles and strengths of the individual groups also meant that if one of the groups got surrounded or caught off guard by a tactic that they did not have the tactical accumen to address, they could be wholesale destroyed. To address this issue, he began to formulate the Khanate Legions, also called the Chimaeran Legions, to form a strong core to his army, to which the forces of the wider horde could be used to supplement and enhance. He quietly sent envoys and traders to the north, hiring experienced steel millers and smiths to create new arms and armament for his forces. He then began to use a trusted core of officers to select members from the wider horde to become the first Legionnaires of this new force. He had to slowly implement the unit, showing it as an advancement rather than a replacement to his diverse forces in order to keep groups from seeing it as a threat to their position in his army. Legionnaires are selected by commendation from their respective commanders, and must have served in the wider horde for two years before entering service as a Legionary. The Legion is split into four primary services; The Infantry, the Calvary, Logistics, and Engineering. During the first year in the legion, a servicemember is known as a recruit, and will serve in both the Engineering corps and the Logistical Corps, doing hard labor on top of extensive training for the combat roles. During this period, the recruit is broken down and retrained to fight alongside those of any nation or tribe, as well as learning valuable information about logistics and siege warfare. This is meant to help each legionary to be better prepared when facing situations that require the careful planning of both elements. When they finish their recruit period, they can then choose to enter the infantry or the cavalry, both of which are further separated into the light and heavy elements, as well as archery. After five years of service in the legion, a Legionary may choose to join the Territorial Guard, where they learn more about being a law enforcer and ambassador for the Khan, as they are the forces that garrison conquered territories.

The kindhearted, yet naive, Shajaran princess Esther is a direct descendant of their mythical First King, and is destined to be the new Queen of Shajarat once she comes of age. At least, that was until a great threat swept in from the west; a monster more than a man, whose name is uttered in fear by those who’ve heard it before. Whose cruelty and fury leaves nothing but destruction and anguish in his wake. A threat so great that possibly, not even the fennecs’ ancient fortress could stand against it. And as their First King decreed upon his deathbed: if the walls were to fall, so will the Last King. But not only does the kingdom itself lay at stake in the face of this prophecy; as does the life, freedom, and heart of their princess. There lives 10.000 people in the Capital of the Kingdom. They don't have an actual official army or anything of the like. It doesn't function like a traditional nation does, as all soldiers, with apart from the "palace guards" (a misleading name as they do more than guard the palace), are all volunteers and only needed in times like these. They've never had anyone actually defeating their walls before so they've never had a need for well trained fighters. Previously they've only had need for maintenance laborers for the wall, pikemen and archers for retaliation, sapper defense, and the like, so even if they'll be arming farmers with little to no combat experience it's always worked out for them in the past by just hunkering down and wait for the enemies' food and moral to run out. And these folks are traditional by nature, so they don't change things that's always worked out in the past. They are not used to fighting so they will not engage foes that are outside of their kingdom but rather they will try to survive the onslaught until their attackers either give up or run out of food and retreat, any scouts that they send will not engage in any fights and will quickly try to flee if seen. Lady Aina, I recall you telling me that the city’s granaries were starting to run low from last year’s harvest. How far away is this year?" *Lady Aina voiced her concern* "It’s… far, my lord.
