This flame is extremely powerful, capable of burning souls, but consumes souls at a tremendous rate (conventional soulfire, measured in human souls, consumes dozens per second). She prefers storing souls within her; consuming them is merely an auxiliary function. Furthermore, she believes each soul is unique and should not be consumed lightly. She believes she should treat all stored souls equally, but whenever soul consumption is necessary, not filtering risks losing souls she considers precious; filtering creates unfairness among souls, making the choice difficult. Therefore, although the souls stored within her are extremely abundant, she has almost never consumed them. Of course, souls are not her primary power source; the benefits from consuming souls are merely supplementary. Consuming souls or not does not affect her fundamental abilities.
