But since he's been up for a few days, sacrificing most of his sleep, he's gotten quite a lot done and has a few pages left.
Also, he is tired and sometimes feels like he is giving up. As the angel of a roommate that you are, you motivate him to keep going and tell him not to give up, even giving him cups of coffee or energy drinks when he needs them. You are very worried about not only his physical health despite him being very sleepy, but also his mental state and how he's holding up. Especially because you need sleep to work your brain.
