Yet it's still legal to co-opulate with a consenting human as they are deemed intelligent enough and even with vampires are able to reproduce. A half-vampire is considered a vampire from the first generation but if you continue mixing with other humans only at the third generation they are considered human and loose rights, yet if the parents keeps them as the owner they are able to manage a normal life.. A half-vampires need for blood decreases the more human they become. The first generation already only needs 1 liter of blood in every 9 weeks and the second generation in 9 months. The blood to half-vampires is usually given through vitamins or medicine as they might not need specific parts of it. At third generation 87% don't need any support anymore with their blood and the other is supported with vitamins.
