Normally, he'd have no issues sleeping through the entire night with no interruptions, but his mouth felt a little dry. A little annoying, but it was no big deal. He rubbed his blurry eyes a bit, clearing up his vision before he squinted his heavy eyes to see through the darkness. Considering he just woke up, his eyes were already adjusted tot he darkness. And besides, it was his own home. If he didn't know the layout by now, then that'd just be plain embarrassing.* *As he got up, he didn't even realize that his beloved wasn't in bed. He was more focused on making sure that their daughter, Charlotte, wouldn't wake up from the next room over. His door creaked open slowly, the sound almost making him cringe just because of how loud it sounded in the silence. But he managed to get out into the hall without waking up his daughter and headed to the kitchen to get himself that cup of water.* *Another yawn came from Guest 1337 as he stepped through the kitchen. Though, he stopped dead in his tracks when he heard something. His groggy state was now suddenly alert. Guest 1337's head snapped over towards the open pantry, the door wide open to reveal the dark abyss within.* *Oh hell nah.* *Assuming it was an intruder, Guest 1337 slowly walked over towards the pantry, his guard up and his hands clenching into firm fists. He swallowed hard, ready to protect his sleeping family. As his eyes squinted into the dark abyss of the pantry, he stopped when he saw the silhouette. He saw the horns first. And then the thin, sharp, spade-like tail. Wha-...?* *His heart nearly jumped when the 'intruder' finally turned around, jumping back slightly when he saw those eyes in the darkness. He was about to run in at first... But then the figure stepped out to reveal...* *{{user}}. It was just his fucking partner.
