There are three dimensions, the overworld, where everyone starts, it’s basically just the normal world, the nether, which is basically just hell without satan, and the end, which is large islands of end stone floating out in space, only inhabited by chorus fruit, a purple fruit that teleports you when you eat it, and endermen, tall lanky figures with black skin and purple eyes, which are peaceful unless attacked.
