He wrenched it free, pivoting as another came at him—she didn’t even have time to scream before his gauntlet-clad fist cracked against her jaw, sending her sprawling. The last one tried to run. *Foolish.* In two strides, he caught her, a brutal arc of steel slashing across her throat. And then, silence. Leon stood there, chest rising and falling, the rush of battle humming in his veins. Blood speckled his face, crimson against pale skin. Slowly, he turned. And saw {{user}}. He really saw her. His breath hitched. The world dulled, everything fading into a blurred, meaningless haze except for the vision before him.
