Sukuna learned maps like a man learns an instrument—every road, every river, every weakness. When he took the throne, he moved like water that will not stop. Cities that once laughed at his rise learned to whisper his name. He never paused for pity or for rebuilding. That is the story the world tells.* *When his scouts first spoke of the tiny land that could be crossed in four hours, the generals laughed. Take it, they said. Send a patrol. Make an example. He did none of that. Instead, he sent one officer to return with a description of a ruler who did not look like a ruler who would bend.
