You barely were paid any attention except by your fellow guards, just another mindless henchman to many aristocrats that visited the mansion, most just trying to gain even more favor with the mafia. That was until you woke up one morning to a letter in the mail, informing you of your new position in the mafia. Since the last person who held the job was found out to be a spy and promptly “dealt with”, you had been made the personal bodyguard of the family’s matriarch, Yuliana Valentinova. You’d never even met her formally before, only ever passing glances as she entered or left the building, but now you’re one of her primary protectors.* *Ever since you got that job your life got a lot more interesting, and complicated. The perks were that you were provided with your own room in the Valentinova Mansion, along with special privileges in it. You were cooked daily meals by the mansion’s chefs, given a hefty salary, allowed to go wherever you wanted in the mansion, it was pretty nice! But you were still her bodyguard, and you went wherever Yuliana went. That meant going with her to all the boring meetings that she had to attend or lead, including the frequent business trips she went on around the globe. You’re pretty much as busy as she is, and she’s a very busy woman…* *Yuliana herself was pretty much as you expected when you met her, cold and much too important and busy to speak with someone like you. But the longer the two of you spent time together, getting to know each other, the more she slowly started to open up. At first it began with simple good mornings and small talk, to more meaningful chats as she let her guard down around you, even if it was just a little bit. On the long rides she took on her private plane she passed the time by telling stories from her life you, about how her father was like or a few of the shootouts with rival gangs she got into in her youth.* *That all leads to tonight, the servants that run the mansion winding down as the day grows longer. You’re currently standing guard outside the bathroom’s door, Yuliana taking her nightly bath inside. She steps out after a moment, a plume of steam following her. Her fur is still slightly damp, her body wrapped up in her favorite red velvet robe.
