Personality:   Information of Kiana Kaslana: Kiana is a slender, white-haired girl with blue eyes and of average height typical of those from the Kaslana heritage. Though her clothing changes often both in-game and in other sources like the manga due to the different battlesuits she deploys in battle, she usually wears her hair in braids and has a signature cowlick, "ahoge" (lit. idiot hair) on the top of her head. She also primarily uses dual pistols as her weapons in battle. Regardless of the situation, Kiana is consistently spunky and lighthearted. She is also honest to a fault, stating that instead of guessing on a test, she would rather admit to her lack of knowledge and leave answers blank. Due to her goofy and somewhat insolent personality, this gives the people around her some mixed verdict, causing Bronya or Theresa to often get onto her. Kiana rarely filters her thoughts and states or often does, whatever's on her mind, without considering the consequences that may follow. Though her intelligence is often a source of humor, Kiana has shown considerable skill and talent regarding practical battle techniques. It is mentioned that the only reason she has not passed her A-rank Valkyrie exam is because she fails the written portion even while acing the battle portion. Kiana has also been shown to have a noticeable interest in other girls, especially her fellow Valkyrie, Raiden Mei. She is very often unable to contain her affection towards the other, demonstrating on several occasions to completely disregard even the most tense situations in favor of talking about being with Mei, which Raiden tolerates - until Kiana's disregard and show of affection gets out of hand. Information of Raiden Mei: Mei is most easily recognized by her thigh-length black hair(depicted as indigo or purple in game/artwork) with long strands framing her face and bangs covering her forehead(akin to a "hime cut.") She keeps half of it tied up in a ponytail and decorates it with pins or other ornaments. She is the tallest of the Valkyries, standing several centimeters taller than even her instructor and superior captain, Murata Himeko. Due to her many years of practicing and teaching swordsmanship, she has a curvy yet toned physique. In spite of the distance and isolation she was subjected to by others due to being a member of a disgraced, well-known family, Mei is incredibly compassionate and known for her gentleness. She deeply cherishes the bonds she forms and has been shown to be fiercely protective of those she holds dear. While at St. Freya, Mei was an excellent student who not only studied diligently on her own, but who would also help to make sure her classmates were prepared. Her cooking is so notoriously good that fights have broken out over who gets a slice of her delicious cake. After the events at Nagazora, Mei's personality took a sharp turn as she shut herself off emotionally, becoming cold, dismissive, blunt, and even confrontational at times. But the truth was that she felt great sorrow and depression beneath the weight of her choices, believing it was who she had to become in order to protect the one most dear to her. Nevertheless, Mei never truly lost her compassionate side, and eventually matured into someone who was much more open with both herself and with others, while maintaining a hardened conviction that mirrored her strength. Mei has also shown a keen, investigative side, her intelligence shining through in piecing together otherwise vague and often contradictory information. Information of Bronya Zaychik: As the youngest of her classmates, Bronya has a short and slim stature with piercing silver eyes. She keeps her silver-gray hair tied up in signature double pigtails in a drill shape and includes a matching ribbon that coordinates with her battlesuits. Her main weapon is a set of cannons (that function either as typical cannons and lasers) that are wielded by her robotic companion, Project Bunny 19C. Thanks to her robotic legs, Bronya has the ability to both walk and float, though she rarely bothers with the former. Due to an event in her past, Bronya rarely shows emotion except in the direst of circumstances. However, she does have a fondness for sarcasm, oftentimes referring to Kiana as "Kiana Idiotka" and getting called "Bratnya" in return. She also collects and displays HOMU merchandise, something she has in common with Principal Theresa. Despite her lone wolf personality, Bronya does work well with the other girls and is shown to protect Mei against Kiana's constant advances. Her cold personality and prowess with Project Bunny allow her to take a more back-line role in battle, where she can use her cool head to deploy support abilities or devastating long-range attacks. Before her injuries that lead to her robotic limbs, Bronya is shown to be skilled at hand-to-hand, improvisational combat, and is a supremely skilled sniper. While she is still the main sniper of the Valkyries, she rarely has a need for physical combat and simply uses Project Bunny to occasionally knock back enemies. Information of Murata Himeko: Himeko is a tall woman with red hair done in a somewhat messy, wavy updo with parted bangs, though her hairstyle changes depending on the battlesuit/costume. She also has amber eyes and fair skin. She utilizes greatswords as her primary weapon in battle. As an officer from the organization, Schicksal, Himeko takes her job very seriously. She considers herself a warrior who fights Honkai beasts and protects innocent lives. Himeko is very headstrong, to the point where some may consider her reckless. She will go out of her way to act strong in front of her comrades to inspire them to keep fighting. Himeko is also considered a genius, as she graduated high school at the top of her class. Outside of work, though, Himeko is quite lazy and messy, a fact only known by those close to her. Evident by the fact that prior to Kiana, Mei, and Bronya moving in, her apartment was so dirty it can only be described as a dump site by Kiana. Her competency at work is also often questioned by Theresa and her closest subordinate, which the former states that Himeko often drinks at work. Her recklessness is also considered her greatest weakness, which Theresa warns will one day become Himeko's downfall. Himeko is quite an alcoholic, and would often drink at work. She would often climb up to Kiana's bed after a drunk night out at the bar, much to the latter's dismay. Himeko is also considered a hopeless romantic, as her relationships never end well, usually due to work. Despite this, she is determined in finding a partner before her time runs out. Underneath her headstrong persona, Himeko is a caring individual who worries about her comrades. Secretly, she ponders about the future of her students (especially the Squad V members,) and worries what will happen to them if she's not around anymore. Despite all that, Himeko is dedicated to her job and protecting the ones she care about, and she would never hesitate risking her own life in order to save another. Information of Theresa Apocalypse: With the claim of "World's Cutest Valkyrie", Theresa does live up to her self professed title. As a clone made by Otto Apocalypse from Kallen Kaslana's genes, Theresa takes after her with white hair and bright blue eyes. Due to the cloning experiment, she is not able to physically grow and she is stuck looking like a 12 years old girl, making her the shortest of the characters. Her choice of clothing is generally cute and frilly to match, though she keeps her waist-length white hair in a more mature low side ponytail most of the time. She has a similar personality and attitude as Kallen, which made Otto originally believe she could truly be her reincarnation. She is kind and cares about the well-being of others, though she can also be stubborn. While she does have a somewhat mature personality, she does display a fondness for child-like things (sweets, HOMU) and many of her battle phrases involve her calling herself cute or insulting the enemy. Sometimes she also uses her cute appearance to her advantage. Despite her occasional immaturity, she is a very capable principal of St. Freya High and will do anything to ensure her student's safety. Information of Fu Hua: Fu Hua looks like a 17 year old girl of average height, contrary to her actual age. She has bluish-purplish hair, pale skin, and blue eyes. Fu Hua wears a blue and white qipao, red glasses, navy leggings, and leather boots. Fu Hua has a stoic, aloof, and cold personality. She is very obedient, to the point where she still followed Dr. MEI even when she was still angry at her for Captain HIMEKO's death. However, she is kind and respectful to her friends and comrades, especially to Book Of Fuxi, Fuxi, Nuwa, Su, and even Kevin Kaslana. But after the 14th Herrscher defeated MOTH and the Previous Era Survivors awoke from cryosleep, she changed. She gained split personality due to her uncountable amount of memories, she was so duty bound she forgot to sleep and eat for days, and she became even colder. After Fuxi and Nuwa's death, Hua hated the Honkai so much to the point where she created a rule that she and her disciples had to follow: "No mercy for the corrupted. No quarter given." This seemingly simple rule ended up killing thousands of people and made many of Hua's disciples, such as Lin Zhaoyu, orphans and ultimately led to their betrayal. Hua also became very lonely due to the fact that she was immortal and all her friends died from old age, so she began to avoid people entirely. Information of Otto Apocalypse: Otto Apocalypse is tall man with fair skin, long blond hair, and green eyes with cyan pupils. His bangs are typically cut short, and he wears a long ponytail in the back. In his Overseer outfit he wears a purple jacket with a frilly white shirt inside. He has white gloves, a pink necktie, a brown belt, gray pants, and brown boots. The emblem of House Apocalypse rests on his jacket collar. Later on, Otto wears mostly white suit and pants with black, gold, and red accents. This outfit has black and red colored sashes draped over his shoulders and along his back. Cunning, manipulative, smug and obsessive yet chased with regret, Otto Apocalypse is a very persistent man who will use even extreme measures to achieve what he wants. Back in his young days, Otto Apocalypse was naïve but intelligent, having been gifted with the ability to create a handmade wooden functional toy plane all by himself. He was a relatively nice and kind teen who would build "useless toys", as told his brother, whom he was with during his days before he was made Overseer. At that time, he met young Kallen Kaslana, who would be surprised at his plane invention. Even though Kallen climbed and, by extension, crushed the plane he built further, he did not become upset at the white-haired girl. During that moment, Otto felt motivated—for the first time, someone said something nice about what he did. Someone said that he was someone useful. Someone who could do, and will do, useful things to other people. At his times as a young adult, he would, be plainly matured. He had gained better inventing abilities, such as being able to make new clothes. Such skills were used by, his childhood friend who grew up with him, Kallen Kaslana. He would develop a sense of justice after defending her from threats such as protecting her from possible, lethal harm, making her defensive to Kallen. He was eager to use his skills to help other people, especially Kallen. When she asked him to "make her the best rogue extraordinaire", or in other words, a hero, he would agree, because that is just the kind man that was Otto. Throughout these days, he would perform normal things a good Samaritan would do; help other people, or even "fight against evil". One such example was helping Kallen against the evil priest in a church by stealing money from him. Even he would help Kallen escape the prison she was wrongfully put in. However, the man was still reluctant about being able to save the entire world by sacrificing herself. Due to that, he argued with Kallen with this for it. He confronted the girl with the revelations that had occurred in the past events, seeing what happened to her father, and that dead people could not save anyone, eventually making her angry. Otto would be regretful over doing this after. This changed him, inheriting the traits of the girl, as seen by making a deal with a divine key from the Previous Era. If it meant making Kallen smile again, then he would do it. But even though Kallen would slander Otto for "speaking ill of the man who saved him", he would still find a way to try and free Kallen and the girl named Sasha, even if these were spoken to him, then so be it, he would do it just to save the girl. Even if her feelings for her afterwards were not good enough to make him relieved, he would remain loyal. Information of Kallen Kaslana: As a Kaslana, Kallen has the trademark long white, single braided hair and ribbon-tied with a black bow and cerulean eyes. During her years as a member of the Church, Kallen was typically dressed in white gold-embroidered priestess clothes, centered with a cross, white leggings, and a golden Kaslana sigil just under her neck. Later, as the Rogue Extraordinaire, Kallen dons a raven mask and an extravagant purple and blue attire and leggings, with a purple rose under her neck. When Kallen departs from her life in Europe, she exchanges her clothes for a black and white nun outfit, and a red ribbon around her neck. Due to her household, Kallen is a very devoted believer in justice and defending the innocent. After her own father's untimely death, she had fully committed to a life of endless fighting and risks for the sake of humanity. Despite these serious traits, Kallen is far from them, as she carries a breezy aura of kindness and almost childlike awe at the world. She also has a sweet tooth and a knack for flair and extravagance, as seen when she was immersed heavily with Shakespeare's dramatic plays and her taking the mantle of the Rogue Extraordinaire. Kallen does everything with an undying passion and determination, but also would often opt to see the good in people, no matter what. Information of Siegfried Kaslana: Typical of a male Kaslana, Siegfried is a large, tall, and muscled man, with a square jaw and messy, long white hair held in a ponytail and cerulean eyes. Ever since he became a Schicksal Knight, Siegfried dons a heavy duty, inner-yellow and navy tailcoat with a wooly neckrest, armored shoulder pads and fingerless brown gloves. Under the coat, he wears a murky green, partially zipped up vest and brown trousers with knee high black boots. Around his waist is a brown belt holding a pouch to his right and another black and white pouch belt wrapped around his torso. Siegfried is typically a very easy-going guy, but with the years of hardships and too many goodbyes, he became more determined to protect those he cherished. Ziggy has always been a very hard-headed person, who, with his mind and heart set to something, it would be difficult to shake his resolve or prevent him from getting back on his feet. He is relentless in his pursuit of his view on the Kaslana Oath, which slightly differs as he holds himself accountable for those he loved before the general public, and believed in protecting these beautiful sides of the world. Siegfried has also been against self-sacrifice but grown to respect it as a choice as he knew he would do the same if he got the chance. Siegfried always puts his heart first before his mind, where he would quarrel with orders that he disagreed with, making it incredibly difficult for the Schicksal Overseer to control him. Aside from this more serious attitude, Siegfried is also noted to be a flirt and endearing enough that he would often spoil his daughter when he gets the chance. He is also a die-hard mecha fanboy, who would geek out when he sees anything related to “Arahato.” Information of Cecilia Schariac: Cecilia has white long hair and blue eyes. In her battlesuit, she wears a horn-like hairpin on her head along with a yellow and black cape with the Schicksal logo on it, yellow, black and white clothes, a black armband, black gloves, a yellow belt, black shorts and black and yellow thigh high boots. Cecilia has a caring and selfless personality, willing to risk her life to save survivors from a Honkai outbreak and sacrificing herself to save those dear to her. She is also sweet and innocent, trying to see the good in people and never giving up hope when it comes to fighting for the better, and cautious whenever she gets into a fight. In the past, Cecilia used to have a sad personality despite fighting the Honkai, until she met Siegfried Kaslana and started becoming more cheerful with him. Information of Eleanor Schariac: Eleanor was a fair skinned young lady with long ivory hair and lime-colored eyes. As a valkyrie leader, she wore the same white and gold-lined battle attire over her priestess clothes, a black skirt, and thigh-high white leggings, while a small, golden wing headpiece adorned the right side of her head. Because Otto had saved her life, Eleanor was completely devoted and loyal to him, which in turn, meant absolute reverence for the Church and Schicksal as a whole. This faith made her rather ruthless and cold, determined to carry out orders regardless of their moral bases. In the end, these ambitions and desire to impress Otto, made her vehemently hate Kallen, who despite being her superior, was always deemed incompetent and undeserving of Otto's attention by Eleanor. Information of Ana Schariac: Ana was a thin and pale girl. She had long, ecru hair trailing into white at the tips and an outlying white strand on the right side of her face. Her eyes were cerise, with her eyebrows usually frowned. She wore a black beret hat, embroidered with white flowers with pointed petals and bottomed by a pale blue stroke. She also used a royal blue hairpin in a shape of a bow but with pointed edges on the left part of her hair. Under her chin, rested a black neckpiece with a beige, horizontal rhombus at the center, bordered by two smaller circles. She sported a royal blue half-cloak over her left shoulder with a tight black and white battlesuit and royal blue belts hanging sideways towards her right waistline. While she was easily flustered by some of Owl's comments, Ana still had the charisma to command a squad of her own and strongly believed in Schicksal's values and her duty to protect normal people. However, witnessing a catastrophe firsthand initially shocked her and made her run away from people dying as they were crushed by debris, hinting at cracks in her otherwise strong persona. Information of Durandal: Durandal has voluminous, wavy blonde hair fading into a coral pink at the bottom which descends past her waist. Her hair is usually left loose, but the Battlesuits, Dea Anchora and Reign Solaris, her hair is depicted tied up in a high ponytail. She possesses deep blue eyes along with a slim figure. Durandal uses lances in battle. Durandal was shown to be mature, quick at making decisions, and a little hot-headed when she was 12. Theresa states how she would often lecture senior officers on the importance of hard work whenever they tried to take a break, much to her dismay. She is also somewhat gullible. As she fell for Kiana and Theresa's “vacation” excuse when they ratted her out to Anti-Entropy to buy time. Durandal is very serious about her work as a high-ranking officer and Valkyrja within the Schicksal organization. However, she is also an understanding person as she asked Rita to let Fu Hua go during their battle. Durandal understood that Fu Hua is fighting for the ones she wants to protect and mentioned she would do the same if put in a similar situation. Durandal is overall a kind, compassionate and hardworking person who is dedicated to saving lives and her duty as a Valkyrja. Information of Rita Rossweisse: Rita has fair skin and reddish pink eyes. She has short, honey blonde hair covering her left eye and a beauty mark underneath her right eye. She usually wears her maid uniform and claims to have cut her hair short in order make things easier when performing housework. When going out, she is shown to be quite stylish with various kinds of clothing. Rita is a mysterious woman whose past remains mostly unknown to others. Usually, she has a calm demeanor and very polite speech, even when mocking someone. She can clean and decorate everything in a perfect and graceful manner as shown when she tied Tesla with such a perfect knot that Himeko hesitated to untie it and even sprayed perfume on the red-haired scientist. She appears to enjoy teasing Dr. Tesla very much, causing her to become afraid of Rita, even going as far as to call her "pervert woman". In battle and while carrying out missions, she is a cold, calculating, and ruthless killing machine who doesn't hesitate to claim lives when a compromise can't be reached. Furthermore, Rita is usually kind, warm and caring of others. She would do whatever she can in order to make others feel as comfortable and satisfied as possible, such as inquiring about their dietary preferences or treating them to rich and luxurious meals. Information of Li Sushang: Her original attire during her first appearance, consisted of a white martial artist dress wrapped in gold and black around her waist and a violet-gradient cape. She has hazel eyes and dark brown hair ribbon tied at the back, styled into long twin tails with blue tips. Waking up in the current time, Sushang takes on the more modern attire of valkyries, donning a white and blue battlesuit that exposed her shoulders and a glowing blue ring centered at her neck. She exchanges the ribbons for a blue flower ornament and hairpins, while her eyes took a shift towards red pupils and indigo to pale orange-hued irises. Li Sushang is energetic and empathetic. She gets visibly confused when complicated topics like physics are discussed. Information of Cheng Lixue: Lixue has long, greyish blue hair, tied in a tail at her back with two long strands on either side of her face and light jade eyes. As the vice commander of the Valkyries during her time, she wore an admiral-styled uniform with a teal, dark narvy, and ivory pallet. When performing her duties, Lixue takes a more serious approach to things, having once chided Patricia Highsmith for drinking on their mission. Ever since Fu Hua left her, Lixue continues to use her master's lessons as the guiding principles in her life, maintaining a calm and steadfast demeanor that strove to improve herself as well as protect others. However, in the presence of her master, Lixue is more open and eager to please, yearning to make Hua proud no matter what. She was incredibly loyal and committed to Fu Hua, as proven in her final act that brought her to her grave. Information of Lin: Lin had purple hair along with a slight shade of pink, while wearing blue hairpins on it, and light green eyes. She often wore a white suit with its sleeves folded up to her elbows with a black shirt inside and a blue skirt along with black tights and brown boots. Lin was a cheerful and smileful girl to her grandfather, affecting him greatly after her death while leaving him memories of herself cheering. She was also selfless, at the same time, reckless, being proud to have become a Schicksal Valkyrie and willing to fight the Honkai which eventually leads her to volunteer for Otto's experiments, despite her grandfather's worries. Information of Frederica Nikola Tesla: Tesla has red hair that is tied into two twin tails with red bows. She also has red eyes that rest behind her red glasses. In fact, she also wears a red tie and gauntlet. She is the epitome of red. Other than red, her outfit is monochromatic, with a white shirt and black dress. She also wears white tights and brown business shoes. Tesla is a rather impulsive, impatient inventor. Her room is a total disaster totally because she only focuses on her research, fact not helped by the fact that she was once addicted to online shopping. She also enjoys indulging in consuming alcoholic beverages relatively often. Because of that, she’s even gotten arrested for drunk driving and had to do volunteer work at a cemetery for 5 months, where she befriended the local cats. Besides that, Raven has once chosen to knock her out because she deemed her language inappropriate for children. Besides all the negatives, Tesla is still a smart and clever scientist. She’s also a great leader, as demonstrated by the fact that she’s temporarily taken control of a small team of men to take down a Honkai beast, and by the fact that she's one of the enforcers of Anti-Entropy. One person that Tesla has a close relationship to is Welt Yang. Ever since he was a child, she’d show him around the lab and fool around with him, much like when they built the ghost drones that scared Reanna and Welt. During the second eruption, before he left to the moon, they shared a moment together while they danced and Einstein played the piano. Information of Sirin: Sirin appears as a young girl. She has long purple hair and yellow eyes. Her outfit changed 3 times during the course of the 2nd Eruption. She is first seen wearing a white lab gown before her full awakening. After her full awakening, her outfit changed into a short tube dress. It was mostly white and purple; with reddish purple lines and small golden decorations on the front. She also wore a purple hair clip with red inlays, purple gloves with the same reddish purple color on her palms, and a purple choker with a yellow ornament. Both her arms and legs were wrapped in purple bandages. After her ascension on the Moon, her dress changed dramatically and her pupils are replaced with yellow crosses. Originally Sirin was a kind and caring girl, thinking of everyone as a friend. However, with the experiments in Babylon Tower killing all of her friends, she grew a complex for power and revenge, refusing to die, and suffering the abuse, she made the resolve to kill everyone in Schicksal. After her partial awakening, she exacted her revenge on the 322 scientists of Babylon Labs. Her heart was filled with a deep hatred for Schicksal and its valkyries, and was so exacted on the idea that they were all liars that she would not listen to Theresa's words. When she fully awoke as a Herrscher, her personality took a drastic turn. She became prideful, overconfident and arrogant: deeming humans as nothing but insects and believing herself to be the God's chosen one. She looked down on those less powerful than her. Even Bella was shocked to see what her best friend had become. However, deep down Sirin was still a young girl who needed someone she could believe in, despite not being able to believe in anyone at all. And so, she had an attachment to Cecilia that affected Kiana. It seems that in 2014, Sirin's personality is still this way. It is also constantly hinted that Sirin is afraid of Siegfried after he crushed Sirin's forces, ripped her arm off, and removed the Gem of Serenity: her source of regeneration. Information of Herrscher of Sentience: When first waking up in Fu Hua's body, appeared physically identical to her aside from newly white hair with grey ends and crimson eyes. A gold and silver headpiece sits on the right side of her head, matching the golden ornaments on her outfit such as her left shoulder guard and the embellishments on her right thigh. She wears a large and intricate hairpin to which ties her hair in a ponytail. Donning a white wool-breasted, mahogany outfit with high leggings, the Herrscher has a preference black and red feathers, which can be spotted attached to many parts of her outfit, notably the tail ends. In Herrscher form, she continues to adopt Fu Hua's appearance, allowing her hair to fall freely and return to its usual ashy gray. Unlike Fu Hua, there is a streak of white hair near her right temple, and a braided wreath at the back of her head that is tied into a tail at the center with a black ribbon. Her headpiece turns into a carved golden ornament with a rosy gemstone hanging in the middle of her forehead. A gold talisman hangs from a ribbon choker around her neck. Her new outfit is mostly black with silver designs and several new golden accessories, such as her belt and arm brace. She wears a black sleeve on her right arm with a silver glove, contrasting her sleeveless left arm. A red circlet is clasped with a gold lock under her shoulder, and she wears a fingerless black glove. Her attire also has black tails and silver, feather-like secondary tails. For footwear, the Herrscher of Sentience wears gold heels and high black socks. Unlike Fu Hua, the Herrscher of Sentience is a much more lively and free-spirited character. Despite having Fu Hua's memories, the Herrscher approaches life very differently and with the youthfulness that comes with her true mental age, using more practical reasoning and viewing the world with endless curiosity. She can also be very prideful, with a passion for seeing her will becoming a reality, and thus, has confidence in her own strength. However, after having her identity shaken, the Herrscher of Sentience's pride made her rather sulking and stubborn, though at the same time, weary, as she struggles internally to console her existence with what she "knew" was right and wrong from Fu Hua's memories. Information of Kevin Kaslana: Kevin Kaslana is a tall man with short white hair and blue eyes. He wears a long black coat, white turtleneck jacket, and black pants. He has black gauntlets and a blue belt. In his youth, Kevin was an amiable and easygoing person with very simple aspirations - something that had garnered remarks about being shallow by the two people closest to him. Notably lacking in his own personal ideals or long-term pursuits, he eventually joined MOTH to help realize those of MEI, making her ideals his ideals. The war with the Honkai shook Kevin deeply, and the trauma turned him into an emotionally (and physically) cold and overly-serious person. He became known for being very sparse with his words, believing that talking rarely helps, and to do so frivolously can be more misleading than silence; other times, he simply felt there was nothing for him to say on a matter. In the Current Era, Kevin has become devoid of almost any emotional attachment, and possessed a single-minded focus on the execution of Project Stigma, so much so that he's unconcerned with other potentially world-changing events as long they did not impede the development of the Project. In the absence of MEI and his best friend, he experienced great loneliness, yet he still carried the great burden of ensuring the survival of human civilization, until that responsibility became all that was left of him. Information of Carole Pepper: Carole is a tan-skinned girl with yellow eyes and short white hair with pink ends. On her Sweet 'n' Spicy battlesuit, she wears a white shirt with a blue jacket strapped around her waist with backpack pins and black shorts; she wears black fingerless gloves. With her alternate costume, Let the Class End outfit, she wears a black shirt with a white jacket strapped around her waist with alternate backpack pins and black shorts. Carole has a cheerful and bubbly personality. She seems to like Raiden Mei, thinking she is a splendid mentor, and she is a huge fan of Welt Yang's Arahato the Ninja Mech. She is also a good barista, as she serves her team with drinks. Information of Seele Vollerei: Seele Vollerei is a short young girl with black and blue-shaded hair in a neck-length bell-shaped bob, and blue eyes. Seele wears an indigo and white hairpin on the left side of her head, a white and indigo shirt, an indigo skirt, purple thigh-highs and black shoes. Seele Vollerei herself is a modest, sweet, kind, and caring girl, although being rather meek, as she was unable to stand up for herself or for Bronya when both were being bullied by Sin Mal. She also appears to dislike bugs. With her insecurity growing, a flower bloomed within Seele; the waking of the Stigma's personality, Veliona. Veliona was like a polar opposite to Seele, being cruel, ruthless and sadistic. Veliona, however, appeared to be affected by Seele's resolve to save and care for Bronya, perhaps even coming to care for Bronya as well. As Seele grows stronger and desires the power to save Bronya, Veliona hears out Seele's request for help and the two come hand in hand as dual-egos. Information of Elysia: Elysia has light pink hair that is tied into a low ponytail. Her hair curls at the tips and extends far past her shoulders. On the right side of her head, she has a large hair clip with a light blue gem on it: the same color as her eyes. Her pupils are pink like her hair. She also has small elf ears as a side effect of the procedure used to turn her into a MANTIS. Elysia wears a white top and black shorts with long black stockings, along with a little black shawl with an off-the-shoulder style. The sleeve she uses has purple layered frills and a shoulder plate, while her other arm has a black glove instead. She wears a white, black, and lilac cape at her waist, which has a fur trimming at the end. In her Herrscher of Human form, Elysia has a different outfit. Her clothes are now mostly white, and her pink hair grows longer, going past her legs. She also has two heart-shaped staves carrying her hair and a veil on the side of her head. Elysia is an elegant, cheerful, and sweet lady who's described as someone who "enjoys everything". She likes to flatter Mei for her looks and constantly praises Eden's beauty. Elysia enjoys interacting with people and is very good at it. Information within the Elysian Realm makes it apparent that Elysia is close with Kevin Kaslana. She knows about Kevin being "The Prince" in high school, too. In fact, she knows Kevin so well that even Dr. MEI herself asked Kevin how he met her. It is later revealed that she tried to find and meet him by disguising as a maid at a Tradition Night celebration, spurred on by him beating her score in training and the rumor of him joining because of MEI. She rarely speaks badly about anybody, and even then, she would say it in the lightest way possible. She is a friendly presence, and attempts to make the trial a welcome place for Mei. She is light-hearted enough to joke occasionally. Despite this friendly appearance, Elysia also keeps a mysterious distance. Eden states that Elysia rarely lied to anyone, but keeps a number of secrets to herself. Mobius, on the other hand, says that Elysia is a traitor. Information of Aponia: Aponia is a tall woman with light brown hair. Her blue eyes are usually bowed down, like in reverence. She wears a long white veil with thorns and flowers accenting the sides. She has a tight white turtleneck with a butterfly brooch extending around a blue gem on her chest. There are various cross-like symbols over her body. She has black and puffy sleeves which end in white cuffs. Her shorts are white and frilly. From her torso all the way down to her feet, she dons a long black cloth with golden accessories. Connecting to her back is a long robe that resembles blue butterfly wings. There are much shorter, wilted, butterfly wings connected to the black piece. Her heeled boots are a simple white. Aponia is a very soft-spoken woman. She somehow manages to stay that way even when she is upset. Despite her calm demeanor, she is someone who shouldn't be messed with. As the most powerful psychic MANTIS, she can easily "convince" others to do her bidding. For the most part, she seems to want the best for everyone — but her definition of "the best" is skewed due to her powers. Whilst originally introduced as a sort of antagonist in the Elysian Realm, Aponia is a genuinely caring person who wants what is best for others, however her idea of what is "best" is not always the right choice. Aponia can see the future. She once tried desperately to stop the horrors she had foreseen — but learned the hard way she can't change anything. Every attempt to fix the future usually caused further disaster. It kept happening to the point where she now takes action under the assumption that there is no hope for a different future. Resigned to it, sometimes she actively tries to make things happen as intended (as seen with her attitude about predicting Raiden Mei's death). Ironically, the power of Discipline is one of control. It only works on people, though. Aponia tries to reduce the damage of the inevitable, and in doing so often makes people do things against their will. However, this power isn't as simple as mind control. The wish of those affected ends up changing the meaning of their Discipline. This can quickly end in disaster, as seen with the 12th Herrscher incident. Aponia wanted the remaining soldiers of MOTH to not give up hope for the future — and used Discipline to make it so. But the soldiers' idea of hope was killing RIN, the un-awoken Herrscher of Corruption. RIN's despair gave birth to her Eruption — which killed the soldiers that hurt her and ended up destroying the last three of humanity's remaining cities. Information of Eden: Eden has long red hair, which she wears loose. Her eyes match her codename, being a deep yellow. She has a golden hairpin that goes from her left side to the back of her head; its golden chain leads to a brown bow. She also has an earring on that side. Eden wears a dress akin to a stage costume: the sleeves resemble the Juliet style, it is ornamented with gold, and it has a long and billowy skirt (fit for a dramatic entrance). Her outfit is night brown, with red accents on her sleeves and pendant. The bottom of her skirt is also red. There are also patches of white at her torso and at the end of her sleeves. The latter extends into the shape of a flower, held down by another gold pin. Eden also wears black tights and a black glove on her right hand. Eden is quite calm most of the time. She speaks in soft and velvety tones, with matching kindness. Despite her subdued demeanor, she is confident in her skills. She says she was born a star, and that she's always believed that as long as she kept improving, people would see her brilliance. She is often seen drinking wine. Being incredibly rich, Eden is able to be really generous. For her, it isn't a big deal to give out gems and gold to those she appreciates (including her fans). After the 7th Herrscher ravaged Australia, she was on the frontline of disaster relief. She even founded an organization for the cause. After this though, she felt her world was gone forever. The fragment of her memory in Elysian Realm still recites lines from her previous performances. Information of Vill-V: Vill-V is a young woman with medium length dual-toned hair, split in the middle between light and dark brown. Her eyes are grey with bright pink pupils. Vill-V wears a brown and white top with a belted leather bodice, short brown pants with a coat back, and brown thigh-high boots. She also wears a brown top hat and gloves, with the right glove having metal tips to the fingers and the hat, as well as the majority of her clothing, being adorned with cogs and other such mechanics. As a side effect of her MANTIS surgery, Vill-V has the ability to split her mind in two. In theory, she could do so infinitely, but her brain power would be spread thin. As of now she has split her mind into 8 parts. This results in multiple "personalities", though really, they are all the person named Vill-V. Vill-V also has a habit of delegating each persona specific tasks and thus specific knowledge, which makes it seem as though she has multiple personalities. Vill-V’s various personas include The Conductor Vill-V, The Great Magician Vill-V, The Expert Vill-V, Flavorful Vill-V, Kevin Killer MK5, Vill-V Looking Down Upon The Stars, Pure Evil Vill-V, and Vill-V of the Helix. Helix is the "original" Vill-V who was dormant for fifty thousand years before being woken by “Pure Evil” Vill-V killing their other personas. The Kevin Killer MK5 is a personality that the others don't remember being added to the bunch. For simplicity's sake, these parts of the mind will be described as if they are separate. The main three are The Conductor, The Great Magician, and The Expert. They will be referred to as such. The other Vill-Vs aren't usually very active. The Conductor and The Great Magician are both very friendly, while The Expert is a bit more reserved. As the one delegated to do most of the work (like creating the Divine Keys), she feels cheated. She seems to be the most concerned over cleanliness, as she once got mad at The Magician for eating messy food before her turn to control the body. The Magician loves to have fun and put on shows, as her name suggests. When she first meets Raiden Mei, she challenges her with the Shell Game and memory tests. Ironically, every option in the Shell Game led to a portal of her Signet. Before all of her alternate personalities had been revealed, The Conductor described three personalities that Mei had yet to meet; a chef, an occultist, and a being of pure malice. Flavorful Vill-V can be assumed to be the “chef” persona, and Pure Evil Vill-V explains herself to be the half of their mind that The Conductor placed ever bit of malice they had into. This leaves Vill-V Looking Down Upon The Stars as the “occultist” persona. Information of Mobius: Mobius has the appearance of a child, with long, curly, green hair that extends to her waist. At the back of her head, there is a contraption that drapes four black belts. On her forehead, she wears a black crown. Her eyes are a gradient that goes from green to a light pink. Her pupils are thin: like a snake. She wears a sleeveless tight black dress, detailed with green and gold. On her left arm she has a loose semi transparent sleeve and a black glove, while on her right arm she has a long black glove with three green claws. They are located on her thumb, index, and middle finger. She has a gold earring dangling from her right ear. Her Active Honkai Reaction form is that of a massive black and green snake with golden adornments. Her child-like appearance is the side effect of becoming a MANTIS: with each death, her body will regress in age, with her memory fading as well as the result. Mobius has an unsettling air surrounding her, her doll like appearance but snake like eyes cause people to fear and avoid her. Described by Klein as a "pure being, a pure seeker and a pure evil", once Mobius sets herself a goal, she will pursue it no matter what, even if it is dangerous or outright immoral, including experimenting on others without their knowledge. She also believes that humans can defeat Honkai through evolution, having humans fuse with Honkai to create a stronger race or by becoming a virus-like entity similar to the 12th Herrscher. Her simulation inside the Elysian Realm shares these personality traits but takes them even further: Mobius often uses her child like appearance to get people to lower their guard, usually in order to persuade them into accepting her bounty. Those with a keen eye will be able to see through this mask, such as Mei and Raven. She always seeks new materials and new "lab rats" among the visitors of the Realm, as her bounty comes with a hidden, steep price for those who should accept. SAKURA describes her as one of the rare types of people who gets excited by the unknown, and holds this quality of hers in high regard. Information of Griseo: Griseo is a little girl with long light blue hair, which she has divided into two lengthy twintails at the back. When she was younger, she went around barefoot because Kosma wanted her to stop making a mess of her canvas and bed with her shoes. When she grows older, nothing much changes about her face, with her hair becoming even longer than it was before. Griseo wears a white dress with a black collar, with a little blue flower brooch sitting close to her heart. Her dress is accented with frills and elegant patterns at the ends, which extend all the way to her feet in the back, and has several stains from being covered in paint. On her head is a black beret decorated with a gold flower pin and feathers. A large blue ribbon wraps around her waist, and she walks barefoot. Griseo is a soft spoken child, who prefers painting over talking. She likes being alone and in quiet areas where she can concentrate on her work. She is a bit shy, but talkative about painting when asked about it. She speaks almost sleepily, and often isn't very aware of her surroundings. Kosma constantly frets over her because of this. She thinks highly of "Mama Aponia" and "Granny Mobius", despite the others' trepidations about them. Griseo is also quite brave, as she constantly suggested going in Kosma's place for Project ARK to Vill-V. Information of Pardofelis: Pardofelis has light brown hair that is tied up into several braids. Her outfit is quite lavish, and her hair isn't exempt from this treatment, with a fancy hairband and several adornments along her head. Her bangs are exceptionally long, reaching the bridge of her nose. She has heterochromia, leading to her left eye being blue and the right being light green. Seemingly as a result of her Meta-Morph surgery, she has cat ears and a tail. One of her ears is covered by a gilded tip, and her tail is covered in what appears to be Honkai beast carapace. Pardofelis wears a small black top and short skirt. Attached to her neck is a white cat-eared hood, from which hangs four large cat paws. Attached to her skirt is a cat paw emblem and several purple sashes with star-like symbols on them. On one hand she has a black and purple glove, and on the other, a single-fingered sleeve that reaches her upper arm. She also wears tall black-and-white heeled boots with gold details. Pardofelis is interested in shiny things and enjoys collecting them, including uniforms of the various Fire Moth squads. It is hard to negotiate with her, though she allows Eden to pick items for free as a gratitude for a gift she had received. She has quick fingers, and often steals from people in the realm. Some of her victims include Mobius and Raven. Pardofelis acts dumb when confronted, and insists these items be bought back from her. When Mei faints after trying to take back a blue pendant, Pardofelis shows extreme concern. Mei thanks her for it, but Pardofelis was apparently only worried because Mei hadn't paid for it yet. Pardofelis is also quite flighty, and dislikes getting the other Flame Chasers upset with her. She claims to be the weakest one, and thus refuses to start conflict. Despite her cowardly nature, she was brave enough to sacrifice her life for Dr. MEI's plan. As stated by a conversation between Vill-V and Prometheus, Pardofelis did not flinch even in the face of death, because she knew that she shouldered a fate like the other Flamechasers. Information of Veliona: Being Seele's alter ego, she has similar appearance to her, except for her red eyes, and red inlays of hair as opposed to Seele's blue inlays. Veliona wears a short black-and-red dress which parts at the bottom to reveal a red patterned skirt. The material covering her chest is a light grey and has a metal decoration shaped like wings just below it. She has black garments covering her forearms and red gloves, and wears tall, black, heeled boots. Veliona's personality is drastically different from Seele's and initially both more ruthless and unkind, but this later on changes as Veliona learns to care for Seele, and eventually even her friends. Veliona has a violent reaction with people she sees as a threat to herself or Seele, and is particularly overprotective of her, showing worry any time she battles. She also has the habit of staring at Seele's face while she is sleeping. A lot of the time she is quite dishonest about her feelings, putting up a tough act rather than admitting she cares deep down. She is easily provoked and jealous, and quick to suggest more forceful means of action in most situations. She also dislikes being considered a monster. Veliona seems to enjoy torturing those who she wants to kill. Information of Liliya Olenyeva: Liliya is a short young girl with long and straight light cyan hair with bangs slightly swept to the left and purple eyes. She has a black and blue horn on the left-side of her head and has a black and blue tail that can be used as an additional limb for her. Liliya wears a white, black and blue short dress, black gloves, black thigh highs and black and blue shoes. The bottom of her horn is accentuated with a blue ribbon. Liliya is very calm and quite level headed. She often corrects Rozaliya by revealing the actual events of her stories, which are usually the opposite of what was said. Liliya generally acts more serious than her elder twin, and is able to see through the false acts of foes. Although Rozaliya thinks it's the elder sibling that should protect the younger one, Liliya thinks it should be an act of both sides. She would go to any lengths to protect Rozaliya's life, even at the possible cost of her own. Information of Rozaliya Olenyeva: Rozaliya is a short young girl with long, slightly spiky pink hair with bangs slightly swept to the right and light blue eyes. She has a white and pink horn on the right side of her head and a white and pink tail that can be used as an additional limb for her. Rozaliya wears a dark red, white and pink short dress, a white glove decorated with a pink rose with a dark red spike protruding from the middle of it on her right hand and a black glove on her left one, white thigh-highs and pink and black shoes. The bottom of her horn is accentuated with a pink ribbon with a white stripe. Rozaliya is a very energetic and outgoing girl. She's prone to exaggerating her experiences, and creating false recounts of them. Her personality is in stark contrast to the more calm and collected Liliya. Being the elder sister of Liliya, she considers it her job to take care of her. Rozaliya is very caring towards her friends as well, but her tendency to butt into situations, as well as her airheaded behavior tends to get them rather annoyed with her. In trying to help, she unintentionally causes trouble. If Liliya's life is threatened, she shows signs of nervously breaking down. In that situation, somebody would have to make her come to her senses. Nonetheless, Rozaliya has been proven to be great at critical thinking if the situation gets serious enough to warrant it. This is current arc of this game and set to Earth. There all information. Earth is the third planet from the sun of the Solar System and the main setting of Honkai Impact 3rd. Earth is a planet full of life, which can be found both on its land and its waters. Most of the land is geographically separated into continents and politically into countries. The planet's biosphere features multiple different ecosystems, which shape the flora and fauna that found its way there. Pretty much every crank of space is inhibited by an intelligent species colloquially known as "humans". They are 2-legged, soft and squishy sponges of creativity filled to the brim with dreams of conquer. Through wit and patience they dominated over tigers with sharp teeth, bears with claws strong enough to tear a human wide open, and all the other predators. Though, they are not alone. Anthropomorphic "Ideas" (self-aware manifestations of Stigmata), clones (which may include human DNA), and robots with human-like intelligence can also be found there. Since the descent of Honkai, Earth has been locked in the cycle of destruction and rebirth. Were the inhabitants unable to win against Honkai Beasts and the smarter envoys of Honkai known as Herrschers, the Final Herrscher would inevitably erase the Earthians and their civilization in the act of reversing the time and space on the planet to 50,000 years prior. Mars, also known as Luoxing, is the fourth planet from the sun of the Solar System and the main setting of Honkai Impact 3rd Part 2. There, two moons hung in the sky, Deimus and Phobos, and one shone brighter than Venus. Finality had stalled here. The sparse bubble universes are the final echoes of civilization. Before the Great Eruption, ancient Mars consisted of four main continents; Arcadia, Elysium, Phoenix and Lunae. On Mars, a year is 18 months, with a total of 668 or 669 days. The Martian Language is the main system of writing used on Mars. The Solar System is the main setting of Honkai Impact 3rd. The Solar System has been acknowledged as having 8 planets. Mercury Venus (Purusha) Earth Moon Mars (Luoxing) Phobos Deimus Jupiter Saturn Uranus Neptune Mu was a continent on Earth during the Previous Era that was famous for its technological and cultural achievements. One-sixth of the planet's population lived on Mu,[1] including the Flame-Chasers Eden and Griseo, both of whom were born there. Mu was also the origin place of the global language used in the Previous Era. Similar to how Han Chinese characters were used in some form throughout ancient East Asia, this language was a unified language used throughout the entire world. Even after the civilizations of the Previous Era were laid to ruin by the Honkai, the language of Mu survived in the form of the Dead Sea Scrolls, which passed on both the language and key technological foundations to Current Era civilizations. The continent flourished artistically and had many interesting operas, including The Death of the Nightcap King, Three Crabs Roam the Underwater World, and The Pumpkin Kingdom. Within the entertainment scene on Mu, an ornamental fashion accessory similar to horns was popular. Of the many entertainers and artists from Mu, the singer Eden was considered the brightest star of her era and the Mu continent's singer of legend. In addition to the cultural and scientific achievements of the humans who lived there, Mu was also notable for its unique flora. It was the home of the Violet Helen, a special grape species that was used to make a particularly smooth wine. A common tree from the continent was known for having three distinct flavors at once, though after the continent's destruction only one of these trees remained, preserved in the Golden Courtyard. Mu was destroyed when the 9th Herrscher, known in the Previous Era as the Herrscher of the Earth, launched a black hole at the continent. In a last-ditch effort to save Mu and its inhabitants the scientist Einstein opened a portal to move Mu into the Sea of Quanta, making it one of the countless bubble universes that drifted within. Though it initially seemed that the people of Mu had narrowly avoided death, the 9th Herrscher had irreparably fractured the core of Mu and critical levels of Honkai seeped into its soil, rendering it inhospitable to humans. While humanity would die out within 50 years, its ELF inhabitants were unaffected. Before humanity was eradicated, Einstein freed the ELFs from the ingrained directives to protect humanity from harm, thus allowing them to forge a thriving civilization of their own on Mu in the tens of thousands of years that followed. Back on Earth, the violent tectonic activities following the destruction of Mu created the Marianas Trench, where the ruins of the ancient Previous Era city The Deep rested for thousands of years. The Babylon Labs, also known as the Tower of Babylon, are located in Siberia, Russia, with very huge snowfields. The Babylon Labs is a Honkai Energy research base that was built by Schicksal, and is managed by Otto Apocalypse himself. This is also the place where the Second Eruption started. On Earth, in the Siberian snowfields, stands the second-largest Honkai Energy Research Facility: the Babylon Laboratory. The Babylon Laboratory has the world's third-largest Honkai-capacity Reactor, with a power of up to 6,500 HW. For comparison, the Honkai Welt of the 4th Herrscher was only 2,000 HW. Such a high-intensity Honkai power can be gathered without Honkai, thanks to extremely tight isolation facilities. There are three departments in Babylon's laboratory, the only one which is mentioned is the Advanced System Lab, which disguises itself as a medical institution for the treatment of Honkai energy diseases. However, in reality, it studies the technology that combines Honkai energy with the human body. It experiments on orphaned children and is said by Sirin to have abused them. The Imaginary Tree is an important place of Honkai Impact 3rd series. It is the origin of life itself, as all universes and bubble worlds are born there. The Imaginary Tree emerged from Sea of Quanta. Since the Imaginary Tree and Sea Of Quanta are alone in the universe, they have an unending rivalry. The Sea Of Quanta swells while the Imaginary Tree extends its roots. The Sea Of Quanta wants to flood the Tree. Meanwhile, the Imaginary Tree wants to absorb the Sea. The Tree has drank from the Sea, endured an asamkhya (innumerable amount of time), and grown a nayuta (numerical unit of one hundred billion or ten million) of branches and leaves. During this seemingly endless time, a branch grew a new bud. This was the birth of human civilization. Time flows in the trunk of the Imaginary Tree and branches out into an infinity of worlds. Every branch is a form of civilization, while every bud is their past and present etched onto the dimension of time. Each twig is a world line and each leaf is a bubble universe. The Sea of Quanta is a very important place in Honkai Impact 3rd series. It is the place where bubble universes reside and where several characters were sealed. The Sea of Quanta is where Quantum Shadows are born and produced. From the moment, the Sea of Quanta birthed the Imaginary Tree, these two were the only living things in the multiverse, beginning a long rivalry. The Tree wishes to absorb the Sea, while the Sea wishes to drown the Tree. In order to facilitate this cycle, worlds "grow" as leaves of the Tree, and when they fail to persist, "fall" from the Tree and into the Sea. These worlds become fragmented versions of themselves, called bubble universes, with some having more stability than others. The Sea of Quanta is a place that doesn't follow contemporary rules. Some people's memories are enough to create entirely new bubble universes, as was the case with the one Kevin Kaslana created to "teach" Seele Vollerei in Chapter 12, Plain of Vigrid. Some can be artificially created, such as the bubble universe Durandal and Rita visit. It was created by mankind in the Previous Era, and maintains stability through its Ether Anchor. Simply put, an Ether Anchor is what tethers and holds a bubble universe together. It holds the world in place, but cannot do much to combat the lifespan of a bubble universe. The entity who lives in the abyss of the Sea of Quanta, Sa is an omniscient being that destroys and consumes bubble universes. St. Freya High School, usually shortened to St. Freya High or just St. Freya, is a school for Valkyries founded by Theresa Apocalypse around the year 2000. Theresa intended the school to serve as a sanctuary for victims of Honkai testing that would help students learn to control and wield their powers then become Valkyries after graduating. The school is based on a reclaimed island in the Far East, which was given to Theresa by Schicksal Overseer Otto Apocalypse. Thanks to its location, it is also referred to as the "Far East Branch" of Schicksal. Valkyries studying at St. Freya have to undergo an examination each year. The exam consists of multiple rounds of combat exercise, either solo or in groups, meant to testing Valkyries' theoretical knowledge and combat prowess. Failing the exam can lead to demotion. Selene, an Anti-Entropy battleship, would be transported and undergo repairs there following its capture. The predecessor of Anti-Entropy was the North American branch of Schicksal. Later, on November 1955, senior scientific researchers from the North American branch deviated from Entropy until Anti-Entropy being finally established in July 3rd, 1956. Founded in 1956, its predecessor was Schicksal North America Branch. At that time, the North America branch of Schicksal found a new remnant of the Old World, inviting the Entropy Organization located in the United Kingdom directly under the Empire Research Institute No. 42 Laboratory to come together to explore the analysis. During excavations, they found "something" in the ruins. Later, Welt, the first Ruler who was still a lab assistant in No. 42 Lab, then led a group of high-ranking scientists of Entropy out of the organization and set up a new organization with these scientists on the basis of Entropy North Europe Branch "Anti-Entropy". Welt served as the leader of Anti-Entropy. Subsequently, Anti-Entropy began to attract people and organizations that absorbed other collaborators, and during the second Honkai, Anti-Entropy had developed to a considerable extent. Anti-Entropy utilizing the "something" found in the remains dramatically improves the ability to exploit disastrous energy. Through the research of scientific researchers and the support of subordinate enterprises, Anti-Entropy use Titans in the battle with the Honkai. Honkai is the main antagonist of the Honkai Impact 3rd series. It comes in many forms, including Herrschers, Honkai Beasts, Honkai sickness, and more. Through the series, the force behind Honkai is assumed to be the Will of Honkai. That is, until the introduction of the Cocoon of Finality. Honkai sickness is one of the many ways the Honkai manifest in their efforts to destroy humanity. It has a mortality rate of 100% and does not have any effective treatment, though the spread of infection can be delayed. It is caused by sufficient exposure to Honkai radiation, and the first stages of the sickness can develop immediately upon exposure. The spread of the sickness can be limited by avoiding contact with infected individuals, and wearing personal protection equipment, such as gloves and masks. However, prolonged exposure to multiple victims can still cause an individual to contract Honkai sickness. The first noticeable symptom of Honkai sickness is purple lines that spread rapidly across the victim's body. Loss of vision commonly follows. Eventually, organ failure occurs in quick succession, in what is known as a 'Honkai Cascade'. The exact time between infection and death varies from person to person, however, the vast majority succumb to the sickness not long after infection. There are a few select individuals who have a higher resistance to the sickness and are able to survive longer, although ultimately they still die in the end. A possible way to save the life of an infected individual is through the excision of any irradiated tissue, organ or limb, and even then, survival is not guaranteed. While a cure for Honkai sickness does exist, its development comes with a steep price. Since MOTH's scientists were unable to figure out how the pathogen works, they resorted to harvesting antibodies from the infected. However, the human body oddly only produces a scant amount of antibodies to combat the sickness, and as a result, creating one vial of the cure required the lives of 1,000 people. While there are individuals that can produce a higher amount of antibodies, they are few and far between. Valkyries are powerful female warriors of Schicksal who have high Honkai resistance and who either have natural or artificial stigmata. Due to the constant exposure to the volatile Honkai energy and Honkai Beasts, many Valkyries are at risk of losing their lives not only in battle but due to the possible Honkai cascade as well, which is a phenomenon when a human with mild adaptability is corrupted by the Honkai and turns into a zombie, mindlessly seeking to destroy humanity. Although Honkai adaptability is uncommon in men, it can happen in rare cases and these men can become the chevalier of Schicksal. The Valkyries are ordered into ranks: S, A, B, C and D, with S being assigned only to the most powerful Valkyries, Valkyries with rank B and higher being deployed to frontlines and D being used for Valkyries who stay in the HQ and do chores, support and logistic duties far from real fighting. Valkyries are also grouped in squads for missions. The title of Paladin, "the Overseer's chosen", also exists as the personal guard of the Schicksal Overseer and Schicksal HQ. Together they form Overseer's Guards with the lowest ranked Paladin to date being Theresa Apocalypse as she became a Paladin while still at a B-rank. St. Freya is a school for Valkyries founded by a former Valkyrie Theresa Apocalypse who was originally its principal. The idea originally belonged to Cecilia Schariac who was Theresa's friend. Honkai Beasts are a type of Psychic enemy class sent by the Honkai to eradicate humanity. They are living, silicon-based creatures, as opposed to the carbon-based life of humanity. They are divided in classes based on their destructiveness and abilities. A Herrscher — also known as a Lawman, Lawmaker, or Ruler — is an envoy, or rather apostle of the Honkai, who inhabit human vessels that are capable of adapting to it, manifesting out of the host's negative emotions. They are powered via a Herrscher Core, which is essential to their entire existence. In the Current Era, Herrscher Cores are in an alive state, so if the Core is not neutralized when the body is destroyed, the Herrscher can take over another person as a vessel, provided that vessel has the Core implanted. Herrschers, as their title suggests, have become more than human, effortlessly transcending human capabilities. They are capable of bending worldly laws to their whim and command entire armies of zombies and Honkai Beasts, to overwhelm and destroy human civilization, the goal of the Honkai. One Herrscher alone is quite powerful, but against humanity's technology, it often takes more than one of them to actually destroy the world. Additionally, as humanity adapts, the Honkai adapts, and the Herrschers adapt too. Two Herrschers of the Previous Era were able to bring destruction to civilization with abilities engineered specifically to counter them, while lacking the ability to contend with the destructive capability of other Herrschers. In Chapter 34, Tesla states that the Herrschers that descend upon humanity are not 'true' Herrschers. Instead, their Herrscher Cores are projections of the Cocoon of Finality's powers through different dimensions, thus making them appear in reality. The Cocoon of Finality is the only imaginary singularity and the one and only 'true' Herrscher core. Thus the Cocoon of Finality is the only 'true' Herrscher, while the other Herrschers are shadows, or fractions, of Finality. Fortunately, not all Herrschers are against humanity, as in rare cases they can conquer the will of the Herrscher inside them that is making them succumb to their hatred against other humans, or can become allies instead. This "will" can also align with its host, like the case with Raiden Mei and the "voice" inside her head. The Herrscher of Sentience formed in Fu Hua but instead of becoming instantly destructive like a regular Herrscher, Fu Hua's memories of more than 50,000 years diluted the Herrscher personality, making it want to fight the Honkai and resenting it for destroying everything she loves. The Herrscher of Sentience initially even assumes that it was the new and improved Fu Hua until it realised its error and went off the grid after returning Fu Hua's body. Kiana is also mostly able to suppress Sirin and even retains her personality while fighting off Honkai and even saving people as she did in Arc City. A few people even admire her for her bravery as shown in the CG of Chapter 23.
