He participates in the Gods' Apocalypse tournament to claim the final spot in Ragnarok. Among the Outer Gods, he was given the title of Unbreakable (不壊神アンブレイカブル, Anbureikaburu; lit. Immortal God), signifying the endless resistance granted to him by erasing his name from King Enma's mythical ledger, eating the "Immortality Peaches" and drinking the "Golden Elixir of Life" of Taishang Laojun. Advertisement Appearance Sun Wukong takes the appearance of a very tall young man, somewhat close to Prometheus's height, of a lean frame with a muscular build, and particularly very long legs for his height. He has black hair shaped like a porcupine and yellow eyes under black sunglasses. He wears an open black long-sleeved turquoise jacket, thus showing his bare chest, with golden cuffs and interior, a golden tiara as a necklace, long form-fitting jeans (With the same colour of his jacket) held up by a rose-shaped buckle, and moccasins. And finally, for footwear, the Great Sage wears black leather shoes. In his free time and during battles, he carries and uses Ruyi Jingu Bang. Sun Wukong in the past Personality He seems uninterested in everything around him, including events that directly affect him such as the announcement of the Gods Fighters. However, he does seem to be rather observant, as he was possibly the only one to notice there's one last place on the roster for Ragnarok. Additionally, Sun Wukong is a person who knows when to take an advantage, watching the fights of the Apocalypse with the intention of studying his opponents and finding a way to counter them for his future matches. Although usually calm, Wukong does have variety of expressions, disappointed if he hasn't learnt enough or vastly surprised whenever someone exceeds his expectations. Furthermore, he seems to be pretty confident in his own abilities and overestimates at times, as he spoke as if he knew he would defeat Prometheus in the first round or when Ra-Horakhty was presumed to have won his bout in a few moments. Wukong only cares about being free, as he doesn't like following the Gods' rules. Despite his nonchalant attitude, like the rest of the Outer Gods and participants of the Apocalypse, Wukong possesses a bloodlusted side, shown by his amusement of Cú Chulainn's Gáe Bulg and win, where the Celt horrifically damaged Ra-Horakhty. Most shockingly, unlike his fellow fighters who participate in the Apocalypse to achieve their ambitions (Ra-Horakhty desiring to overthrow Zeus, Cú Chulainn wanting his throne, Prometheus wanting to save Humanity, etc.), Sun Wukong only takes a part in it to just kill time. And during his fight against Prometheus, Wukong showed this side once again, as after suffering from the effect of Acantha and the battering done on him, he responded with an excited grin and a laughter, due to not having experienced such "joy" for him in a long time. Though, Sun Wukong has a honourable side, which is shown the best during battles. As a way to "thank" Prometheus and show him respect to him, he lowered his extent of holding back against him, assuming a 5% of his power, which he then changed to 15%. According to the Great Sage himself, he only uses 15% on most worthy opponents. Unwise, Wukong seems to underestimate himself, particularly his own abilities, having not expected his thrust to cause such a catastrophe. Yet despite his history of trouble-making in the Heavens and all else, Sun Wukong isn't inherently villainous in any way, displayed when he prevented Morrígan from starting a fight, calmed down the Gods with his observation, and the fact he has loyal comrades who refer to him as "Bro". This side was proven in his Journey to the West, where he and his companions set on a journey to help humanity achieve kinder and better spirits. Though, because mankind continues to sin and cause evil, this greatly enraged Wukong as he stayed with the thought they will never change. Even so, the Great Sage remains righteous in present days. Instead of continuing the fight and kill his opponent, something a fighter of Ragnarok would do, once he had noticed Prometheus had lost consciousness, he spared him and notified Jarl to call the match off. No love for humanity but after the fight with Prometheus, sun wukong is now fighting for humanity Abilities Overall Abilities: His nonchalance and laziness aside, Sun Wukong is a force to be reckoned with. Wukong was not only deemed worthy to participate in the Apocalypse, but also be considered to the top 1 contender for the tournament. In the past, Wukong has not only bested hundred thousand soldiers of the heavens singlehandedly, but has also defeated powerful individuals like Nezha, Taishang Laojun, Jin Jiao and Yin Jiao, Niu Mowang, and King Enma, despite the fact two of his previous opponents were also deemed powerful enough to be chosen in the Apocalypse, and even fought and defeated other high-ranking Gods, Buddhas and Yougai. And during the Journey to the West, the Great Sage achieved incredible feats, such as managing to erase his name from the Mythical Ledger of Enma, then even manage to acquire all Immortality Peaches and Elixirs of Life, not leaving any spares, with these three feats being responsible for his status as Unbreakable. Sun Wukong is also one of the few who could see Cú Chulainn's Gáe Bulg, a move that no ordinary god was able to process or understand. And as a testament to this, he was able to easily gain the upper-hand advantage he gave to Prometheus. Against him, Prometheus had to use a sneak attack just to get a chance of challenging him, by ensnaring the cuff of his chains onto his ankle and then overwhelm with powerful combos of his attacks, with the massively amplified pain on top. Yet, the Monkey King kept withstanding the attacks which should have been intolerant, and not be sent to Nifhel, earning the Titan's acknowledgement and greatly impress him. Several other powerful Gods, such as Hermes, Ares, and Heracles recognised the Great Sage as very dangerous. The terrifying aura released by Sun Wukong was just enough to force Prometheus to jump away, as it even caused Heracles to warn him to avoid it as it was soon proven as true, given what the Monkey King was able to perform with a simple thrust of his Ruyi Jingu Bang combed with 15% of his "energy of destruction". Sun Wukong's own former foes even acknowledge him as being impressively powerful, and all of them, who like him and dislike him (Enma, the Horn brothers, Niú Mówáng) also admit the Monkey King isn't just a "tough monkey": In other words, Sun Wukong's incredible prowess doesn't come from just his indestructibility, but his other capabilities as well. A testament to this is his title of "Great Sage, Equal to Heaven: He who stands shoulder to shoulder with the Gods", which wasn't gained by a single fight, but rather immeasurable amounts of victories and losses. The immense offensive potential and combat abilities of Wukong earned his recognition and deep respect of Chief Gods like Zeus and Ahura Mazda; Ahura Mazda, as a fellow participant and Outer God, while watching Wukong, came to understand his true strength as he initially assumed he is an all-defense fighter due to his status of Unbreakable and even underestimated him. The Zoroastrian Chief God not only considers him a "perfect warrior", but also considers him much stronger than what his aliases suggest. Zeus regards his combat strength to be amongst the highest in the Heavens. Physical Abilities Godly Strength: Despite his lanky appearance, Sun Wukong posseses universal amounts of physical strength. He is able to effortlessly move and carry around his staff, which weighs 17,550 pounds. Godly Speed and Reflexes: Similarly to his other physical attributes, Sun Wukong also has an undoubting amounts of speed, particularly reaction time and attack speed. He is one of the few who were able to see Cú Chulainn's Gáe Bulg. Additionally, he himself admitted he let Prometheus attack first, implying he was capable of counterattacking or dodging his sneak attack. Later during the fight, with the help of extending his staff into an intimidating length, he was able to thrust it into the Greek Titan's chest, faster than he could react. Godly Durability: Due to eating an entirety of "Sen Peaches", Sun Wukong has a literal indestructible body. He took on Prometheus' Kremos Arkan with no apparent damage, despite the fact the impact of the headbutt injured the Titan itself, then his Deno Altair, a brainbuster that shattered apart the sturdy floor of the arena and cause a crater, only to receive low damage. And as Prometheus kept going with his beatdown on him, Sun Wukong remained barely damaged from everything. Supernatural Abilities Immortality: As a god, Sun Wukong is incapable of dying due to old age. However, due to having erased his name from the Underworld King Enma's book, which decides life and death, Wukong is seemingly fully immortal. This was shown during his match against Prometheus, as despite suffering from attacks done by his immense superhuman strength, the pain he experienced massively amplified by his opponent's Acantha chains, he was able to take on everything inflicted at him and live without an issue. In comparison, the Agent of Zeus Bia, was very easily overwhelmed by the pain the she felt when Prometheus crushed her fist in his grip and then killed her by headbutting against her forehead. Divine Physiology: As a god, Sun Wukong posseses physical abilities far greater than any ordinary human. His body cannot be harmed by mortal weapons, however he can still be harmed by unarmed attacks from individuals with superhuman strength and Divine Weapons. Force Absorption: According to Sun Wukong himself, his indestructible body contains the power of attacks he has suffered in his life. By his constant battles of vast numbers of powerful divine beings and demons, the Monkey King gained the ability to convert it into "destruction energy". As shown, by using 15%, a simple thrust of him of his Ruyi Bang against Prometheus' chest was able to horrifically injure the Titan and send him into the wall, an incredibly deep crater forming in response. While during so, Prometheus experienced in his mind getting attacked by the enemies he faced, such as a giant Ashura, demons of the Chinese folk religion, and even a giant golden Buddha. Seen for now, it can be shrunk to a size so small that he can fit it in his ear, presumably it's smallest size. Created by Taishang Laojun and despite it's normal looks, the staff is of an unbelievable weight, weighing 13,500 catties (17,550 lbs). Additionally, he can freely transfer his "destruction energy" through the staff to attack opponents
