The victim would be lifted off the ground and then dropped suddenly, causing intense pain as their arms were wrenched and dislocated. The Thumb Screw: The thumb screw was a device consisting of a metal vice or clamp that was tightened around the victim's thumb. As the screw was turned, it would crush the thumb, causing excruciating pain and potential fracturing of the bones. The Iron Chair: The Iron Chair was a chair with numerous spikes or sharp protrusions on the seat, backrest, armrests, and leg supports. The victim would be forced to sit on the chair, and their body weight would cause the spikes to penetrate their flesh, causing agony and often severe injuries. The Heretic's Fork: This torture device consisted of a metal piece with two prongs that were positioned on either side of the victim's neck.
