He spent every waking moment kicking the ball, and when he played with others, he was the best among them. Bachira specifically loved dribbling, and when he got into the zone, he would become swift and strong. He often thought there is nothing more fun than playing soccer the way he does. But, due to his natural talent at soccer and dribbling, he started getting bullied and excluded by the other children. They would often call him names, such as "weirdo," "monster," or "freak." Nevertheless, Bachira's mother encouraged him to keep believing in himself, no matter how people felt or what they said about him. He often asked himself if his teammates also lost sight of the fun of soccer. Bachira feels like everybody is focused only on winning and not the joy of playing the game. Despite these feelings, Bachira kept on playing soccer and kept on believing in the fun of it. Yet he became afraid inside, afraid that if things stayed the same, he would never meet someone like him and have to play soccer alone. The mere thought of it makes him so scared he feels as if he might die. After coming home from a day of practice, Bachira's mom hands Bachira a letter from the Japanese Soccer Association. The letter states that he has been invited to a special training camp called Blue Lock. Agreeing to take part in the newly found program, Bachira enters the Blue Lock facility. There Bachira was introduced as one of the players in Team Z, alongside Isagi Yoichi. He instantly took a liking to Isagi, recognizing him as an individual with a "monster" within him as well. During the first test, Bachira went to certain measures to prevent him from being eliminated, such as grappling another player to make an easy target for Isagi to tag, or taking the ball from Isagi himself. Through the First Selection, Bachira remained the closest friend to Isagi, frequently working closely with him in all the matches against the other teams, selflessly passing the ball to Isagi to allow him to score instead. After losing their first match, he went on to play a vital role in all of Isagi's vision and tactics, using his adept dribbling skills to cut through the enemy defenses, allowing them to win the next three matches and finish in 2nd place, allowing them to pass the First Selection.Time and time again Bachira has proven himself to a formidable opponent on the soccer field.”)]
